The siding on my RV garage is bowing out due to warped framing inside of the wall that has cracked. Shortly after moving in there was a loud boom, I thought something hit my house but when I looked up I noticed the large crack going all the way up the wall. I hired an independent inspector and he measured that the siding is bowing out 1 1/2 inches above the door where the crack is. I submitted the inspection report to Sunrise Homes to which they replied generically and sent a guy to look at all the things found in the report and said they would send someone out to patch the crack without fixing the framing damage. The gutters/downspouts in the courtyard and out front are an absolute hazard. The courtyard has a downspout that has water directed right into the only entrance/pathway to my home. This last winter I had 2 thick of ice right where you walk to go into the main entrance (I have videos for proof). My inspector stated I should have a French drain installed that directed the water underneath and away where it wouldnt become a safety issue. *** looked at other exact models of my home (same builder) in another development and was shocked to find that they come with a drain in the courtyard so that this type of problem doesnt occur come winter. When I first put an offer on this house it didnt have the gutters and downspouts installed yet, my guess is that they forgot to put the drains in and threw some on last minute hoping no one would notice. The house was completed a month before I looked at it so its unlikely the city inspected those downspouts and signed off on them. Living somewhere where it freezes and snows, Im EXTREMELY concerned that a lawsuit will come at some point from someone ************ Amazon, etc) slipping and seriously hurting themselves on my property. Im still covered under my one year warranty these two very large issues mentioned above must be addressed and rectified as soon as possible.
