    1A installed a new HVAC system in April 2020, with a "5-year" warranty on parts and 1-year warranty on labor. There was an issue early thereafter, which 1A fixed in a timely manner. In July 2024, the cooing part of the system stopped working. 1A was immediately called because the system was still under their warranty. They took over a month to finally come out and fix the system by installing a new compressor. I was charged for labor, coolant and shipping in the amount of $1,100. The new compressor was warrantied for 5 years, and labor was warrantied for 1 year. Ten days later, the cooling system once again stopped working. I contacted 1A again, and was told they would be out in a few days. It has been over 3 weeks and they have stopped responding to my requests for service. ** initially offered to negotiate a satisfactory resolution. I asked them to either refund the $1,100 they charged me in August, or come out and repair it in a timely manner. They initially said they would be out in 1-2 days, but no showed. Then they said they would be out on 9-25, but again they no showed. I have now arranged for another company to repair the system and a cost of $4,500 (the new compressor failed). I notified 1A of my decision, giving them to option to refund my $1,100 but they have stopped responding.
