    The landlord ******************* is not at all fit for this position. Not only have I hear other negative experiences regarding her, I have also had issues. We have had one thing after another where she denies saying something. For example we were told there was a sprinkler system in place. Then later she tells us there isnt one and we have to water the grass on our own. Thats one example. We had an incident with the safety of the deck and we were told it was ok enough. We almost sent our daughter to the ** because of the incident. The maintenance guy is very rude. He doesnt follow directions or follow boundaries. The list goes on of how disrespected we have felt.

    This is a warning to anyone renting from Hemming Properties. One star is because I had to do something to make this post. It literally is zero stars. Cami comes off as nice and decent. NO. The woman is the devil in disguise and she will make your life a living h*** then wonder why you are yelling at her (I did do that. I own it). She is never in the office, she never returns emails or phone calls and when you bring an issue up, she will literally tell you that didn't happen to your face. Applied to rent one of her properties. Within hours approved, and SHE set the move in date. Didn't ask when we needed it, etc Just here it is. So, we attempted to justify her time scale (which was really about 3 weeks too early) but we did (I say we, my son and I both rented separate apartments from her). We were told 7/1 move in. We arrived on 7/3 to get keys. NEITHER APARTMENT WAS READY. Stuff was in my son's apartment, no floors in mine. Seriously. NONE. So, she immediately violated ****** law. But she was apologetic and nice and I decided to over look it. I should have known the sh... show coming. My floors never got finished, my blinds never got hung, a/c barely worked, dishwasher barely worked, and best of all, the floor heaters had animal urine in them (when I turned them on, I was gagging it was so bad). All of which I reported. None of which was taken care of. Some of that was because of me throwing the maintenance guy out after he was yelling and screaming and berating me in my own dining room of my own apartment over blinds. This guy said he'd be back next weekend, three weekends later, I had no blinds and he never returned. So a neighbor had extra blinds because he gave other tenants their blinds to hang, So, he came and put them in because it was Summer and the back of my apartment was unusable due to the heat because the A/C didn't work. When this guy finally showed, up, he started screaming and yelling at me and berating me. I asked him several times to stop, shut up, etc., he took three steps toward my desk where I was working and I told him leave. A screaming match ensued and he did finally leave. I have learned, IF he likes you, he will be nice, otherwise, as myself (in my apartment) and as two other guys in the complex have found out, if he doesn't, he will threaten to "take you across the street and show you a real man." Two tenants recorded him threatening them. I heard both. I sent notice he was not allowed to come back in without an additional person for a witness. He just never came back unless I had an emergency that needed addressing. Floors never go finished. Blinds never got hung. ***** Then, however, when we broke the lease and left. Cami Texted me asking where are her blinds she paid for like I was a thief. Um...HELLO....That's what started this. When I called and waited 17 minutes to speak with her, she literally told me she wasn't arguing about it. You insinuate someone is a thief, yeah, they will defend their name. All because she "forgot" there were no blinds. You don't get to accuse then backtrack lady. That's not how it works. Lets see. A/C didn't work. Put in an order on 8/3 or so, 9/5 Maintenance guy did come in and cleaned out filter and marked the A/C as working. It didn't. Either it was 60 in my apartment or 90. No in between and I told them unless its turned all the way down, it didn't work. She even told my son we didn't have A/C in the apartments. Um...Yeah, we did, when it worked. The buildings were supposed to be power washed. The maintenance guy did all of them except our building then blamed it on me because he couldn't "go in my apartment." Mostly it was because he was just never there or didn't show up. We broke the lease and left. Our leases specifically stated not to "sub-lease" she told us we had to sub-lease or pay. When I finally explained to her that my apartment lease was violated on 7/1 when i moved in she finally caved. Heads up. ****** Law - If you charge a tenant for rent, you have to have it ready or the lease is null and void. I finally was able to get out of the lease, but she was so ***** as to take $2 for mailing me the remainder of my deposit. I never loose my temper, but I did. This woman literally just ignores every thing you say, refuses to call back and never answers texts or emails, or just tells you that's not what her guy said. Then tells you that didn't happen. . I don't give a rats a** what your guy said. A woman complaining she was scared in her own home and felt threatened and you did nothing. WOW. Tone deaf and narcissism at its best. They are now going up on the others' rents that are there because of the "new Dispensary" and business is booming in ******* **, like $200 an apartment. I wouldn't pay $200 a month if I had to do it all over again. And the floors. They used linoleum tile floors which was put in completely wrong (like not cornered, not cut right, nothing). It was horrendous. The subflooring was done in pieces. So, when you walked on the new tile floor, it broke. I have pictures, I am not kidding, the flooring broke. Around the corners, he cut and pasted like a puzzle pieces of linoleum. It was insane. Around baseboards and walls, it didn't stick because he had no subflooring to hold it down. The kitchen tiles all were loose. The tiles by the door were so cracked and destroyed, I just threw a rug over it because it was so bad. The place had no grass. The fire ******** had to come out and explain that the sprinklers had to work and that they had to satisfy water code due to dryness and risk of fires. They just did NOTHING to improve anything. Place was built in ****. My apartment in ********* was built in **** and its in 10 Times better shape and the maintenance guy doesn't threaten and harass me when he has to come in. By far, worst living experience of my life. But lets top it all off. She had the audacity to tell my son I was difficult to deal with. Well, You know what. I had a reason to be. If having a livable apartment was that difficult for her to understand, then by all means, I am justified in my tone to her. This was beyond uncalled for and I am still debating on filing assault charges against the maintenance guy. But I'm out and just don't want to even deal with him or her. But he should never be allowed around women again alone, especially in their own home. One of the most unnerving situations I have ever been in my own home.
