On 1/13/2023 A+ Drain Cleaning and Plumbing (A+) came out to the property (my rental home) to see where a water leak was coming from. They determined it was a leak coming up from the foundation and water stopped when the main to the house was turned off. They allowed the water to remain on and left. Later claimed that their plumber said to keep it off, but even in their invoice they even mentioned that ultimately they had to shut off the water, but it was not till 1/16/2023. AT that time the tenants had to move out of the house. Water damage had gotten worse and now the main to the house was turned off. I asked to have them fix the problem. I was told they would have to tear up the concrete and the went back out to the house. They cut out dry wall and checked some of the water lines. They could not determine which line. They stated the line to the half bath and upstairs bathroom was leaking but even after plugging it the water started to leak again. (refer to their invoice). Long story short. They were not able to fix the issue. I had to hire another company. A+ were not only unable to fix the issue, which they were called out for. They delayed the entire project of getting the house fixed by over a week and I paid for tenants stay at an AirBnB waiting to get the issue resolved.The new plumber found the leak in less than an hour and they fixed the issue. A+ stated that the line to the cold water line to the half bath and the upstairs bathroom was leaking. That line was fine, it was the line to the downstairs master bathroom sinks. Now I get a bill of $550 from A+, which does not have an itemization. I called and e-mailed them asking for an itemization of what I was being charged and they just divided the $550 into 3 time$183.33. That is not itemization. If they charge for a basic service call, I believe it should be $100 per call or less.
