    We accepted a bid to install Driveway Asphalt at our current residence (after they poured our next door neighbors driveway and over poured onto our property driveway). The Contractor in Lieu of removing the over poured section offered to give us a discounted rate/price on paving our driveway. The Contractor told us the Asphalt would be 2-3" thick. It is approximately 1-2" thick and there are holes down to the base gravel, it has never cured and is still soft. It has holes and is deteriorating/crumbling on top. There are weeds growing through it due to the thinness of the application. These weed areas make a volcano in the asphalt which will allow moisture to get underneath and in winter will freeze and buckle. We have had 4 reputable Asphalt companies come and inspect and consult us on the product and the application as well as our options. All have said the mix is not driveway mix and the base gravel is not proper for a driveway. Options for a proper lifespan is to have this removed and replace with proper mix and proper application process. We have attempted multiple times to get Contractor to come and discuss and resolve, he continues to ignore us. As consumers in the **************, at best this is poor workmanship and lack of standing behind your warranty and work. We are going to be filing a criminal complaint and a complaint against his license, In the hopes that we can get a resolution for the issues with this asphalt. His questionable sales tactics and lack of warranty support have left us feeling completely helpless, robbed and taken advantage of. Four of the five driveways he poured on our block have major issues. He patched one that was fully cracked but won't address any of the rest of us.     We are very disappointed that we have had no further follow up from the BBB- Our complaint was not addressed and or posted anywhere.  We have been scammed out of 15K by this company and so far have no recourse.  It pains me to see an A+ rating for this business when many more homeowners could be affected the way we have been.  Please advise as to why we never heard back or have seen a formal post?
