REMOVEDsaid he painted and repaired my car for 6 thousand plus dollars and the repairs he made were false he stated that he was going to put in a new roof which was not done, and he supposedly painted my vehicle REMOVEDstated that he would sand it down to the metal and prime it and it was not done. The paint is bubbling up and there is now rust in spots and has completely chipped off in other spots. REMOVEDalso told me ceramic coated it I do not have the ceramic coating sticker that is to be placed on the vehicle. I was recently in an accident and that is how I found out that he had not sanded my car down to the metal but simply painted over the original paint. This paint job is not very old to be having these issues. Several times I emailed him as well for a detailed invoice on parts and labor and he refused to email me or to even answer my texts or phone calls.

to whom it may concern.   this vehicle is over 12 years old, and it left my shop over a year and a half ago.   first off   i have never offered a ceramic coating service.  nor did i ever tell the customer that .  after they picked up their car they brought it back to be wetsanded and polished nothing more.   also various autobody shops called and warned me about this customer due to their nature of wanting everything done low budget.    this car came to me because the customers daughter was jumping on the roof and hood.  my only job was to repair the roof and hood and repaint the car black with teal stripes and metalflake.   i told the customer worst case scenario that i may need to replace the roof if i couldnt pull the dents.   furthermore i never said i would take the car to bare metal.  that is a practice only for classic restoration. not a color change.   i performed my job to industry standards and specs as far as sanding, sealing, appllying color, graphics and clear coat.  this customer has never called, emailed, or brought the car to my shop to discuss this issue.  when the car was brought to me the plastic rocker mouldings werew falling off and rotting and i expressed that to the customer that there was rust and rot forming, this is idaho they use corrosive materials to de ice roads in winter and it rusts cars out super fast and they even say to wash your car immediatly after driving due to the corrosive nature of their product.  this customer was on a budget and i did the work i could with their budget which also required me to downgrade the quality of the products i used on her car which i also expressed.   1 year is the max warranty you will ever find from a paint and body shop and that is if they even offer a warranty at all because we cant control how customers take care of or neglect their paint jobs on their vehicles.   sincerely REMOVEDMatkin   REMOVED
