1 starWhen I sent my concerns about my shipped order, to their Director at the Depository, after finding silver weight shortage, non silver clad quarters, severely worn culls, foreign coins and missing coins, I would receive renumeration.Their Director, Mr. REMOVEDpretty much told me to "pack sand."This was after finding about 7 REMOVEDOz in silver weight missing from my $1500 face value in pre-1965 quarters after a thorough inventory with coin counts and gram scale REMOVEDwould think that Mr. REMOVEDthe CEO, reading this, would raise some concern, and his ire, since I am now posting that I got punked by REMOVEDmedia does have its REMOVEDhope it was worth sREMOVEDa 100% disabled, retired career military veteran. Shame that they most likely do it to other people too. Just that they dont get caught most of the time. I was just clever enough to catch this deceptive practice. Best honest dealer? We warranty against clad coins and foreign coins. We replaced the 3 coins the client asserted as clad. And we shipped an additional coin as a courtesy. No claim was made for foreign coins and this is the first time we have heard that assertion. We do not warranty against condition. This client did not understand that 90% silver US coins come in a range of conditions. It is not reasonable to sort the coins based on condition and ask that the poorest condition coins be replaced. We do not sort them based on condition - either when the coins are purchased or sold. In any given lot, clients must be prepared for some coins to be in poor condition and some to be in very good condition. Pricing is done with the assumption that some coins are worn.Money Metals Exchange, LLC

5 starsI have made a couple of transactions with Money Metals Exchange now. Each of them has gone exactly to how they explained the process. Do they wait for payment to occur before shipping the product? Well of course they do what business doesn't. The invoice for the purchase even states the shipping date. I see some people complaining about the shipping. If it takes a week or two weeks to receive the product that doesn't change the purchase price. I get a shipping notice usually a day before their stated shipping date on the invoice. I keep track of tracking numbers to ensure progress of the shipment. Every shipment is received in three days of shipment. I have nothing but good things to say about Money Metals Exchange. People need to realize that precious metals is a volatile market these days and that is one of the risks.Money Metals Exchange, LLC

1 starThis company is SHADY. I made a $2000+ purchase via ACH transfer, which was cleared the next day. They sat on my money for a week before starting to process my order, even after a phone call. When my REMOVEDmachine arrived, it had been opened by MMX, and reeked of smoke like a chain smoker had been sitting there using MY machine for a couple days before shipping to me. I made a complaint to REMOVED, and they confirmed my order was sent to REMOVEDbrand new and completely sealed. Read through Money Metals reviews through a few sources and you will see a pattern of unethical business practices all over.Money Metals Exchange, LLC

ACH payments are cleared over 5 business days. Clients are informed of this clear time prior to ordering as well as in follow up correspondence. While we know most payments clear the client's bank the next day, we are not able to see into the client's account. When the payment fails because of non-sufficient funds or some other reason, our bank will remove the funds and notify us. This notification arrives up to 5 days after the payment was originated.
We do not have an explanation for the smoke smell. We do not sell used devices and we do not allow smoking inside our premises. Had the client contacted us, it is likely we would have offered to replace the item. That did not happen.

I understand the policy on ACH payment delays, I just dont agree with it since I use that method all the time and never have a full week delay. On the shipment, I went straight to the manufacturer to see when they sent it to you. They confirmed the serial number and shipping date, which based on the date it was then shipped to me, your company had it in your hands for a couple days. REMOVEDships their products new, sealed in plastic bags. I received from you an open box, with opened bags for the main unit and the accessories. The entire package inside reeked of cigarette smoke, so much that my office now stinks of it as well. Clearly someone at Money Metals either does smoke on the job, or possibly took my unit home to play with before packing it back up and shipping it to me. I didnt contact Money Metals up front as I was fact-finding first, but REMOVEDimmediately offered a replacement unit so there wasnt a need to call. However, I did subsequently speak with REMOVEDat Money Metals and told him what happened.Review fromWolfgang M

1 starDo not buy from Money Metals, go anywhere else!!Ordered 1 oz gold.Called because credit card not working on line but was accepted by rep. REMOVEDsaid invoice would come email. Invoice came, saw charge in bank statement online. Got call back a day later, credit card was not acceptable payment (even though it went through at bank). Called Money Metals back and said I was charged. They said they did a refund. Called bank refund went through. They told me I needed to use different payment.I told them cancel the order, I would not have placed order if not on card for safety.(while I was on hold they re charged my credit card)!!!They re charged me and said they would not be sending the gold bar due to my use of my credit card. Stay away from Money Metals, I am going through dispute with credit card company now! How do companies like this exist?Money Metals Exchange, LLC

The order placed was over our dollar limit for payments made by credit card - our mistake. The client was immediately notified, payment was refunded and the order was liquidated. We did not charge the payment a second time and the client is mistaken. We are not, in fact, capable of processing a payment a second time as we do not retain client's Card information for security reasons. The card information is submitted to the payment gateway when the order is originally created and then immediately cleared from our database.Review fromRonald A

I was dumb and gave them some incorrect information, but after calling them they made sure to tell me what to fix. Five minutes and done. I talked to a REMOVEDand a REMOVED.
