    We hired this company to answer calls live for ************** **** because we are spending $5,000 a week on *********** Advertising with a major news channel. The spots starting airing on September 12, 2022. The company, Answering Specialists, **** is not answering calls LIVE as agreed but instead, calls are going to a voicemail after we have paid them. We believe this is a clear violation of FCC regulations and we not only would like a refund of the charges they have charged but also for the 5 spots that have aired on NewsMax at $625 per spot totaling $3,125 so far. Thank you for your help in this matter.

    This is interesting.  We do not have any voicemail system that ever answers calls.  It is not even possible for us to have any type of automated system answering any of our clients calls.  ALL CALLS ARE ANSWERED BY A LIVE OPERATOR IN ALL CASES. 


    It is very possible that either AT&T or Cricket were who they were receiving a voice mail from.  We received almost no calls from this client and those that we did receive - a message was taken.  Most of the calls we received were hang up calls - I'm assuming it was their people trying to get the system working.  We do not charge them for those hang-up calls.  We also record each call - so we can easily providing recordings for each all received.  *** also have no control over their call forwarding process.  That is between their phone carrier and them.  If they get the call to us properly - we will always answer it with a live operator.

    Clearly we will not be paying their advertising fees or refunding our fees as this is not a issue of our making.  Our service agreement is very clear on this issues as well.
