Dennis Dillon sent me an ad for their 41st expo sales event. The mailer had two promises. It stated they wanted to trade the car I had bought from them two years ago for more than it was worth, saying they would offer KBB trade-in value plus 3k. It stated they were offering a $25 gas card just for attending the event. I showed the salesman the ad. He asked what I was trading and what I expected to get. The trade was a 22 Kia **** blue booked at 15k. With the promotion, I expected 18k trade in value. He checked with a manager and confirmed their interest in the car and said we matched on the price. I found a car in an hour and waited an extra two hours for a finance manager to come available. The manager brought an offer of $11,000 on my trade. This was far below the verbal confirmation made earlier. I contested this and referred to the promotion that made me expect 18k. He altered the offer to 14k for my trade and informed me that Dennis Dillon would not be honoring the promotion as it was written because there would not be enough money in it for them if they did.I rejected both offers and asked for the promotion's other promise, the gas card, on my way out. I was denied it and told I could have it if I came back to buy the car. I spoke with a manager later about my experience. She said the gas card would be mailed to me (as of 4 weeks later, it has not arrived). She said the ad was printed in error and Dennis Dillon would not honor it as written. I believe Dennis Dillon engaged in predatory sales tactics. They invited me to the event under false pretenses with a false advertisement, offering financial incentives which were reneged upon. I attended the event on the third day, and clearly wasn't the first customer with the promotion. They knew in advance they would not be honoring it as it was written. They intentionally chose to ********* in bad faith by lying to me about the trade-in's value, hoping that I would overpay if they wasted my time.

I traded my fully owned 2022 *** ********* which I paid ****** dollars cash for and it only had ****** miles on it to Dennis ******* *** and I was beyond low balled and they convinced me of the depreciation, that no one will by a front wheel drive SUV in ***** ***** and gave me less than half of what I paid for it and I only owned it for 1.5 years. I traded for a ******* Kona and they charged me a ton of fees that were optional but did not explain that to me. The way they explained my contract was a bunch of mis information and as a women I felt like I was fully taken advantage of. They told me I had 45 days before I had to start paying my financing and I was charge a ton of fees of late fees after only two weeks of owning the vehicle and it effected my credit score and made what I owed go up. I called and called and could not get a hold of anyone and was told by employees they don't know what to do. It took weeks to get a call back from someone who was no help. I had to call the lender directly send them my contract and explain what I was told. Now my credit is effected negatively. The customer service was horrible, when I left I was in tears and felt like I was completely taken advantage of. I sold my vehicle and asked for the optional warranty back which I was never told was optional and gave them all my information. They told me they would send the info in right away for me to the warranty company, and I called the company and they never received anything from Dennis ******* ***. I was also told I could not get a refund for some of the extra large charges they gave me, and after talking with an attorney who deals with dealerships and multiple other dealerships in ***** they all advised me on what I could get refunded after I was spoken to short and like I was an inconvenience and told I couldn't get certain payments back, that I found out that I legally should be able to. I only owned the car for a month and gave them my bill of sale and odometer reading.
