They sent me this mailer and it is annoying, it is addressed to my mom, ***************************, but *************************** is not the owner of this house anymore, I am.. I just inherited this house from her.. I AM NOT SELLING, NOT NOW NOR EVER, and even if I was, I would not pick a business that can't LISTEN to people! Last year, I emailed this company, and I asked to be removed from their mailing list, they mailed me again this year(they did not LISTEN).. So, I called them this year, and ask for them to stop mailing me these stupid mailers(post cards).. I don't know if they removed me or not, but judging from the other complaints this seems to be the norm.... Harassment of the customers, and ignoring their requests not to be disturbed, is not a good business model.. When people ask you not to disturb them, please leave them alone, especially If they ask to be removed from your mailing list! Because you are killing your own business, by continuing to be a nuisance..

      Hi ****,

I am very sorry for the grief we have cause you by sending postcards to your address.  We really do our best to remove addresses as requested, but as we purchase new mailing lists from different vendors sometimes the addresses re appear.  Again, I do apologize.  We will do our best in the future but if you happen to receive another postcard, please just disregard and dispose of it.

      thanks,

      Sterling

My complaint is the same as all the others. Essentially, this company regularly sends me unwanted, unsolicited mail stating "I want to buy your property."Recently I received one of their mailers with a return address so I returned to sender and requested that they remove me from their mailing list. Unfortunately, not only am I continuing to receive the mailers but now the mailers no longer have a return address so I can't refuse them through USPS.I am registered on several "no mail solicitations" lists, so it is really bothersome that this company continues to harass me about buying my house when my house is not for sale.I've also read Resolve Home Buyers' response to others with the same complaint, and they say that because they outsource their marketing to different companies they won't guarantee removal from all mailing lists. That response is unacceptable. I want this company to remove me from ALL their mailing lists and to stop harassing me.

Stop mailing me your houses wanted cards. I WILL NOT SELL TO YOU, I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. YOU ARE A SCAM and I am a senior citizen. LEAVE ME ALONE.

      Hi ***,

I am very sorry that our postcard has upset you.  We will do our best to remove your address from any future mailings.

Regarding your assertion that we are a scam - I take accusations like that very seriously.  Unbeknownst to you, we actually provide an extremely valuable service for people who are looking to sell their house with speed, simplicity, and certainty that the typical market process can not provide. Over the seven years we have been in business, we have worked with many sellers who are very happy with our service.

Please provide evidence of your claim that we are a scam.

      Thank you,

I receive a large amount of marketing mailers from the company. I called and asked to be removed from their mailing list and was told that no one could remove me because the name and address comes from a marketing company. She refused to take my information to have me removed or provide me with ********************* to contact to remove me from their list. I do not want to be on their list or be harassed by monthly mailers. Please make it stop.

      HI *****,

I am very sorry for the inconvenience of receiving postcards from us.  It is true that we use different marketing companies to handle our mailing and it is very difficult to insure addresses are removed and stay removed, but I will do my very best to accommodate your request.

      Thank you,

I will be contacting the ******* attorney generals office regarding this issue also.

      Hi ****,

Im very sorry for the inconvenience we have caused. We do try to remove addresses but we are always working with new list providers and marketing companies and it's not a perfect science.

If you happen to receive another postcard pl awe just disregard it and throw it in the recycle bin.

      Thanks

I have received at least a dozen Unsolicited offers from Resolve Home Buyers to purchase my home. It is NOT FOR SALE. It is now starting to feel like harassment. The only contact information they leave is a telephone number. Since there is no other contact information it feels like a scam. If it isn't a scam they are presenting themselves as if they are less than ethical. I have read from others that the excuse they use, is they get their mailing lists from multiple sources. As a result your name may be presented in a newer list even though they have removed you earlier. That excuse doesn't fly. It should be relatively easy to cross reference databases and automatically eliminate previously removed contacts.

      Hi *****,

I apologize for the inconvenience of receiving our postcards.  I'm not sure why you would determine that we are a scam because we provide a phone number? You can also check out our website at resolvehomebuyers.com or call ** anytime to address any of your concerns.

      thanks,

It looks like all complaints against business involve the same issue with soliciting. I have asked them to stop soliciting, stop sending me crap, and to remove me from listings but they don't respond. Hopefully, this BBB complaint will get the issue resolved. Remove these addresses from your listings: **** * ******* ** Boise, ID 83709 **** * ********* *** Meridian, ID 83646 Thanks

      Hi ****,

You are correct, the only complaints we have ever had are from people who have never done business with us.  I am very sorry for the frustration we have caused. As we try to tell everyone, we will send your information to the marketing company we use.  They do their best to remove addresses, but unfortunately we are buying new lists all the time and the addresses invariably come back.  So sorry for the inconvenience.  We just ask that you ignore any future postcards and recycle when possible.

      thanks,

      Sterling

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

it Doesn’t address why the company keeps soliciting and intruding into the privacy of peoples life.  I can see people repeating the same thing over with this company refusal to stop soliciting for whatever reason.

you buy peoples information? And that’s why you keep sending stuff soliciting?  How does that work? I know how these companies work because I have confronted some of the same companies before who STOPPED soliciting.  Basically you target people who you search for as showing property tax delinquent or search other financial information available showing people are struggling…….then you prey on these people seeking endless solicitation.  This is nothing more than harassment.  You know that in Idaho there is a tort law of privacy? What these companies like yours do is an intrusion into the privacy of peoples lives.  What you need to do is to develop a process ensuring that once being asked to stop soliciting that you ensure you actually do so.

      Sincerely,

      **** ******

I have asked to be removed from a mailing list multiple times. The company is making excuses as to why I have not been removed. They told me they switched mailing list companies. I would like my wishes to be removed from a mailing list respected. I have asked 4 times at the very least (I just started keeping track with the mailers some time ago. Previous to that I was throwing the mailers away). The company should keep record of who wants to be removed instead of saying, “I’ll talk to the marketing department”.

      Hi ******,

I'm very sorry that you have received more mailers.  We do our best to remove addresses but are constantly purchasing new lists and its difficult to keep them straight.

      We will remove you again.

      thanks,

      Sterling
