    Hi ***,

    We received your complaint via BBB, and I wanted to take a moment to reach back out to you. After speaking with our Store Manager, ****, to get further clarification on the situation you're experiencing, it sounds as though we assisted as best as we were able to given the circumstances. You brought in two batteries for warranty, one with damaged posts and another that was discharged. Although our warranty policy does not cover damage to a battery, **** chose to warranty the damaged battery as a gesture of good will. He also processed a Charge and Check for the discharged battery, which consisted of charging it and testing it. The battery recharged without issue, and tested well. **** returned this battery to you. Unfortunately, our warranty policy does not cover batteries that are not failing. 

    I understand that these batteries are used in the same application (in the same circuit), which is the reasoning for you wanting both replaced. While we are not able to warranty both batteries, we'd be happy to assist you further with replacing the older battery at a discretionary discount. We appreciate your business, and will always take the extra step to help when we're able to. Feel free to reach out if that works for you.

    I am rejecting this response because: The majority of this response is, in fact, false. A further testament to the lack of integrity held by the store manager. Neither battery had damaged posts. I never came into the store asking for a warranty. Never during this entire exchange did I ask for a warranty. I came to the store to have the batteries tested. They were then placed on the charger for many days. I initially began having weak cranking power just after one year on these batteries. I assumed it wasn't the batteries, but after attempts to track a potential draw produced nothing, I took the batteries to be tested. When I returned to the store to pick-up my property, I was told by the manager he would replace one that was not charging, but would no longer honor the warranty for either battery. He said, "I know you are having problems with your vehicle and we wont be warrantying these batteries in the future. I made notes in our system." He has never seen my vehicle and never had a conversation with me about my vehicle or any of the sort. I didn't talk with him further as it didn't seem productive in his current state and left the store.
