    I moved into a property owned and managed by this company. The next day I was missing little things. A couple bottles of body wash, a bar or soap, a half of jar of coffee and half a stack of coffee filters. This issue is ongoing. I think either her maintenance is using a key, or the are so high on meth her and her employees that they gave or sold keys to the property. Food lbs of frozen beef come up missing out of the freezer, a couple pack of cigarettes. She has employees who can't afford to feed their f****** kids, every last employee of hers is a meth head a f****** twack. I'm gonna put my own lock on the door. It's the only way to deal with it. I have to buy higher quality cameras. The landlord might have friends in the local police department who will over look these things. I put an old trail cam my third day at the property due to this issue. I believe it has been tampered with, sometimes it will show the memory card has no files. So I then think they are swapping out the memory card. Thus far into my 1 year contract I have had a horrible experience because of the illegal use of a property key.

    Slumlords, fix nothing but constantly raising rent. Good luck getting your security deposit from these guys.

    I had a friend that rented an apartment through ABD properties and they had three inspections via section 8. He fixed what was asked by them, yet the other damages that were caused by a leaking toilet that needed to be addressed by ABD properties, were given three opportunities to get them fixed. It was explained by the property management that my friend refused to allow them to enter the apartment and fix it. Which was far from the truth. He was then given notice to move out and find another place and it wouldn't be an eviction. The toilet leaked to the point that after a while a hole formed above the kitchen sink and grew bigger and the property manager was there inspecting before section 8 housing. The water would fill the light cover in the ceiling and the bulb needed changed. It also caused cracks in the living room by the staircase therefore water leaked on his couch and any visitors. I doubt they fixed the issues. The address is 1235 W Mullan Ave Waterloo IA 50701. They've been removed from the section 8 program since
