    Approximately 1 month ago I hired ***** Daniels to remove and replace a side wall pad. When he made the saw cuts he left gouges in the 2 adjoining panels. Also after making the cuts he didnt notify me that he was leaving and when he would return to finish the work. He also left a sloppy mess on the 2 adjacent panels as concrete dust was all over these panels an dried and I wasnt able to broom or hose it off. I called Daniels and told him not to return due to his sloppy workmanship. As mentioned Daniels needs to reimburse me as I now have to hire someone to repair/replace 3 pads. I have called/texted Daniels multiple times but he doesnt respond back,

    I am rejecting this response because:

    When they cut the required repair pad they chipped the 2 adjacent pads. Also they didnt clean up the concrete dust after making the cut and it got wet and they left a mess. 
    They made the work site look worse with the 2 chipped pads. I no longer want Daniels Construction working on my property and they need to reimburse for the 2 chipped pads.

     SECOND RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT #********

     

     

    I am sending several pictures of the home located on **********************************************************************

    As I had stated in my previous response dated July 2, 2024, ***** Daniels, Daniels Home Improvement or any employee of DHI did not damage any sidewalk panels at **********************************************************************

    Our company will not be issuing a refund, as there has been no down payment or money received from **************** in any amount for the start or completion of this project at his home. The city has marked two (2) sidewalk panels for removal and replacement, NOT three (3).

    As to the alleged chipped areas, there is nothing in the photos to substantiate this claim.

    We have offered several compromises to pacify ****************.  I have concluded that **************** wants his project paid for by my company and is making false allegation to

    extort money without basis for payment to him.

    Lastly, I did sidewalk work for around sixty (60) homes in the *********** area.  Mr.  Hughes   

    Is the only person who is making allegations as to shoddy workmanship, I pride myself on providing the best service to all my projects no matter how large or small.   Im proud to say that because of my dedication to excellence Ive been in business for over 30 years.
