    Garbage guys is taking advantage of us. We rented a dumpster from ********************* in 2021. We called and asked them to remove the dumpster when we were done with it that summer. The administrator on the phone told us she does not have a record of us renting a dumpster so its not theirs. This went on for a while, considering the dumpster was never picked up. After multiply times we did give up and never received one bill from them.With ******* going through ****** the city council called us and asked for it to be removed. We explained to them the situation and they offered to remove it for us. We thought that would be great. After a couple days I remembered a email from garbage guys that I disregarded due to not knowing who they are and thought I should call them.During this call they told me they dumped the dumpster because someone called them stating they were ************************* and gave them information to ****** business for contact info. ***** did not make that phone call or anyone affiliated with him did. The home is vacant were the dumpster is at. We did not know garbage guys bought *********************. If we knew this we would have asked them to take the dumpster. I tried my best to explain this strange situation to the girls working there and they became argumentative with me. Very mean and rude. I had to sadly ask them to please stop being so rude to me multiply times and try to understand our situation of trying to return the dumpster and being charged for a dump someone called in supposedly. I finally felt like they understood and gave me a discount on the price of ******** they charged us. They then still didn't pick the dumpster up. I had to call again a few weeks later and they said I didn't pay my bill. I asked them to check and they saw I did pay it. They then sent me another bill for ******. The detail report on the bill is double the price for gas and dump as the last one. I called to ask why are you guys charging me and why is it double the price I told them I feel like they are trying to rip me off. They again started becoming rude with me saying they are the owner and they googled ****** business and it has bad reviews and don't call them. They also said I should have called them to tell them I paid the bill. Very strange to say something so off topic. I also would have never known I was supposed to call them to tell them a paid a bill. I did call them back trying to get a reason for being charged double for the gas and dump. They said because they changed their prices. The person then said they would have the owner call. I said I thought I just talked to the owner. She then said no I'll have him call you. The interaction with this office is so crazy. We feel like we have paid them over the amount considering we did not know who they were and never contacted them and have not wanted this dumpster. They are now saying off the wall things to us and doubled the price on another bill they sent after we paid their last bill and asked for it to be removed. This whole thing has been crazy to deal with and it's too bad they have to act this way to a resident. We do not feel as if we need to pay this new invoice that they made double the price. I have never had to write a complaint before or make a civil lawsuit. We just don't understand why this has become such situation and it's impossible to speak to anyone there. We hope you please make this right. Thank you.

    I do not believe that we are taking advantage of *************************************. Her original roll off bills that she is referring to are from November and December of 2022. The dump fees and gas fees were much cheaper at that time. We increased our roll-off pricing in January of 2023 and then again in July of 2023 due to increased employee, fuel, equipment, and dump fees. The ********************* raised their dump fees on July 1, 2023. They can charge us as much as ***** per ton to dispose of garbage at the landfill. We raised our disposal fee on July 1 to ****** per ton to cover all the expenses asssociated with the disposal of garbage. We had made every effort to keep this customer happy. ********************** Guys already removed the drop fee from her bill ($400.00) and just charged her the dump fee and a fuel fee. Unfortunately prices continue to rise - diesel fuel has increased a dollar a gallon in the last 30 days - the trucks get around 4 miles a gallon, thus making it very costly to run up and down the road.
