- Advertising Review:
On August 31, 2022 the BBB asked the business to respond to an advertisement concern regarding it's website statement: ...you could have new windows in your entire home for just $40/monthly. According to the BBB Code of Advertising Standard 16.6, this statement should include:
16.6 " Easy Credit"
16.6.1 The terms "easy credit," easy credit terms," "liberal credit terms," "easy pay plan," and other similar phrases must be used only when:
-Consumer credit is also extended to consumers whose ability to pay or credit raing is belwo typical standars of credit worthiness.
- the finance charges and annual percentages rate do not appreciably exceed those charged to consumers who meet generally accepted standards of credit worthiness; and
-The consumer is dealt with fairly on all conditions of the transaction, including the amount of the down payment, the period of repayment and the consequences of a delayed or missed payment.
The BBB asked that the company provide substantiation of the advertising claim, modify or discontinue the claim. To date the BBB has not received a response to the advertisement review.
