I took my 2010 ***** traverse to Danis auto for an alternator replacement in late October of 2021. They had the car I believe two days I picked it up on a Thursday. Previous to having the alternator replaces I had plans to go out of town to visit some family. So I picked up the car in thursday from Danis auto in ottumwa, and drove it to Fairfield where I reside things seemed fine, the next morning I drove it to work and home, as we proceeded to gather our things and head out of town about and two and a half hours into driving things started to get weird, the lights would flicker the battery gage meter would rise all the indicator lights would flicker and the car would act as if it was shutting down. As we proceeded, it blew head lights high an low beams that had to be replaced at a rest stop on the highway. We then made it to our families. The next day we called the auto shop they told me to replace the battery, we tried a few different places and it was back and fourth with the battery and alternator, however we bought another battery just to be sure. The car continues to do the same thing it was doing previously. The car then sat in Indiana for 3 weeks so I Could gather the money to get it back to ****. I receive the car about a week before thanksgiving and took it back to the shop where it has sat until February 17 2022, I recently just went and got the vehicle from them to find another mechanic because of the problems they have caused with the car, there customer service and there lack of capability to except responsibility for that they messed up and there lack of communication over the course of the time they had the vechile. The problem is bigger then when it began and they never resolved any of the issues or offered any accommodations to except responsibility.
