    We reached out to A+ Services to fix a pipe that had broken off of our toilet on Friday morning. I spoke with the representative on the phone and she stated that one of her service techs worked in the area and would stop by after hours to see what parts he would need on Monday morning. I told them that was fine because we had an additional bathroom. When the workers arrived on Monday they were able to put a new section of piping in. While there they noticed that we had garbage disposal on the counter, and said they had finished that job sooner than expected and could install it for us. My wife agreed to the installation. After that installation was completed they packed their belonging and headed to another job across town. Less than a week later I noticed that the garbage disposal had stopped working. Our toilet was leaking into the bathroom and running down into our basement. When I received the bill from A+, I called and talked to the owner about the service that I received. Along with the items that were still broken. I refused to pay the bill until the requested service was completed to a satisfactory level. He demanded that he come to the house right then and there. I told him that no one would be allowed in the house without someone home. In addition to the botched work, our bill was charged almost double the hours that were actually worked. A+ had sent 2 techs working about an hour each and our billed time was over 5 hours. The numbers weren't adding up. I am still waiting to this day to have A+ come back and make this right. However, they just keep sending me a new bill every month.

    My husband and I purchased a new furnace from A+, it was installed 4/3/22. In last summer we noticed the carpet was very damp. Upon further checking we found that it was coming from a drain tube on the new furnace. I called Steve at A+, he came right out and stated that the previous drain tube was not replace due to the location. Steve installed another one. Steve even made a comment regarding the damp floor. We placed fans on the carpet to help dry it up. In October, we noticed a really bad smell coming from the carpet. I placed Carpet Fresh on the floor and placed 6 air fresheners around the basement. This did not help at all. I November I pulled up the carpet, (my husband said to leave the padding down due to concrete flooring and cold weather). The padding was still damp. I put up with the smell until, January 2, 2023 at which time I called A+. The gentleman that answered the phone stated that no one was there. I ask what was going on. I explained the whole problem. He stated someone would call me back. After waited a day for a return call, I proceeded to pull up padding and found mildew. I am asthmatic and had to clean up. I finally heard from Brittany on 1/9, again told her the issue and that I spoke to Dixon Carpet regarding the smell. I also stated that I wasn't looking for the entire replacement of floor, just the hallway portion. She said she would speak to Steve and call me back in the morning. Since not hearing from them, 1/12 I called Brittany, she stated she and Steve talked and to spoke to a contractor at Dixon Carpet and was told there was no smell, water stains or mildew, (which implies I lied to them). And that they are going with what Dixon said. Not once did they come to see for themselves. I have photos of the water stains and mildew. My husband went to their place of business per my request to retrieve our warranty info., and they stated to him that I was only interest in the money. Please see their website for more.

    I spoke to Dixon Carpet yesterday. They said that they spoke to A+ Services but said the installer did not respond back to them.
