  Waited two and a half months to get a quote because of their busy schedule, which I was okay with, only to have the contractor not show up the day of with no explanation. Tried to figure out what happened and after a couple back and forths with the desk staff, found out I was blacklisted by the owner for unknowingly violating an unwritten policy that I had never been informed of. The desk staff was very nice and professional, thus the second star, but the boss wasn't. Turns out the reason I was blacklisted was because a year or so before, I had gotten a bid from them in the course of other work. Apparently the owner took it personally that I didn't give him the "common courtesy" of telling him I went with someone ********, I'm a new homeowner, so I was not aware that this industry expectation existed. (In fact, when you apply for a job or an apartment, you only get called back when you get the winning bid, so I was going with what I knew in good faith). I would have happily done this if I had known it was a requirement to stay in good *********** I tried to get him to call me to work out what was going on, but he dodged doing so. Eventually I had to tell the secretary that I was going to leave a complaint with the BBB if he didn't get back to me. Lo and behold, he calls about an hour later. When he did, he wasn't interested in making things right or coming to any kind of understanding about mistakes on either side. He opened the conversation with "so what do you want" and just accused me of threatening him with a bad review and that added on to why I "couldn't be trusted."Long story short, he chose to erroneously think the worst of a customer, punished them based on his mistaken assumptions and unwritten rules, and then made it the customer's fault. He's the one who can't take responsibility for his actions. Very unprofessional behavior all around and I will unfortunately not be recommending them in the future. ****** at the desk was great though! <3

  Hired DW Improvements for a dishwasher install. The job was not completed. Misunderstanding as to what they were hired for? Made no effort to come to a resolution. No notes were made or contracts signed. Owner never returned phone call to come to a resolution. Sent an invoice with a note stating he'd put a lien on property if invoice of $160 (for an hr of work) wasn't paid. Owner screamed at my boyfriend over the phone stating he'd get his "f*cking money one way or another!" Appalled by owner's unprofessionalism!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

  we were hired to fix water leak which was done,tried to say we installed dishwasher ,but they install and had a leak ,we did not to see if they had electric hooked up right ,turn water back on,no leak ,they are trying to say we installed and didnt finish we were hired to fix water leak ,that is what joe asked us to due,i dont even know who Rebecca McCleary is. joe shorted out dishwasher by not hooking up right,if my company would did the damage i would of paid it.Joe words to my assistant was he tried to install by using utube im sorry this happened but we did nothing wrong.

  people arent always fair to a contractor ,they think if it dont go there way all they have to due is bad mouth us,been in business for 19 years and getting tired of people treating us like this they need to be accountable for there actions too
