    GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS AND ********************** ----------------------------------- FAILED US------------------------------------------- I deeply regret purchasing a Generac Standby Generator. It took 8 months for delivery, and now more than 2 years later still not totally or correctly operable. It started with the inaccurate, incomplete, and faulty initial installation by ***, which then caused further damage during periodic operations. All of this defeats the purpose of a backup generator in the first place, right? Frustration, Disappointment are understatements. Despite multiple attempts to have them corrected and repaired, ****************************** have provided NO MEANINGFUL SUPPORT OR ASSISTANCE We have had to engage a third-party service provider even during warranty for interim repairs in order -to protect the people and animals on the property-all at substantial extra costs to us. Their product, service, and Corporate Governance ALL FAIL, making them unreliable, unresponsive, and dismissive. And still at risk of violating emissions standards. We will be filing a lawsuit and complaints with YELP, Better Business Bureau, and Consumer Reports. The irony is ^As I am also a shareholder in this public company- Generac - I should apologize to the consuming public for any same or similar unconscionable situations.^As a very, very unhappy customer I suggest you do not buy anything from Generac or **********************

    Got 6 years and 117 hours of problem free. Then the whole 122kw unit died to the toon of $3,500. I was not alone in a 20 mile range. Original parts were the problem and a ton of units have them.Customer service said sorry for you. I even ask to buy an extended warranty which would have had only 4 years left based on the age of my unit, they said no. They are selling so many they dont care about the quality or any form of customer care. 117 hours is nothing on a generator of this cost. Very upset, spreading the word all over central *******. The repair guys agree, Generac product is cheap c***

    We purchased our home in May 2021 and it came with a Generac Mmodel G0070431 S/N XXXXXX6456. Cat I ********************************* hit in September, lost power and the generator worked fine for 3 days then quit. It had just over 100 hours and we contacted a authorized service company to service. The engine threw a rod and needed to be replaced, Generac agreed to send another engine as was still just in warranty and we had to pay the installation cost. The self test mode worked for approximately one year then would not start. Had it serviced to include new battery, ************ and tune up. Cat I Hurricane ***** hit, lost power the generator ran for about two hours and died. I have talked to other homeowners in the area and most agreed Generac generators are NOT RELIABLE! Being on Galveston Bay a backup generator is essential. Three times this generator has gone out and after reading other reviews Generac will not help or assist to resolve their substandard build quality. I will post this review on other sites and see if Generac will contact me to fix their quality issues,****************

    Impossible to reach customer support. Hold times over 30 minutes. Recording has stated for last 3 months there are higher than normal call volumes. Apparently the lack of available support IS normal. My system has not functioned properly since installation. I definitely regret my purchase. Its not worth the aggravation.

    Generac power systems warranty is a big sham .We purchased the 5 year warranty .And when the generator went bad we used their recommended a provider for repair .When we submitted the invoice as recommended by generac customer service who also assured that it will be taken care of .It’s been appx 4 and half months without any resolution .The customer svc person just says they have not heard anything about our request .There was a SMM module repair request .Our case no 8695119

    Their product Failed me and I am out $900 in food and $816 for a new freezer that replaced 2
    Chest freezer’s. They say that they are not Responsible for my loss
    I was on vacation far away I didn’t even know that my power went out
    I spent over $15,000 for product and installation to get it ready for
    Use. I think everyone needs to know and I would like to be compensated for my losses I won’t even give them a star even tho I had to make a selection!!! This is Generac Home Generators They said it was a curtesy for them to replace their faulty utility transfer coil that was loose I watched the repairman fix it!!!
    I called generac 3-4 times and was on hold forever!!!

    Steer clear of Generac solar products and the vendors who sell and install them. I went Solar with Sigora Home and they installed a Generac “PWRCell” inverter and battery. While the inverter works (so far, some nine months later), the battery was offline for five months due to a faulty load management module. Then when they replaced that part, the battery failed to provide backup power to selected circuits during utility power outages. Then the techs from Sigora told me that the Generac battery stops operating when the air temperature drops below 45 degrees F! It turns out that Sigora ordered and installed an “indoor” battery on the outside of my home, on a mountaintop where the outside temp falls below 45 F on half of the days in a year. Even worse, the Generac “backup” battery doesn’t perform its backup function Even When the ambient air temp stays above 45 F consistently. I have warned Sigora Home that I will file a complaint with the State Attorney General’s office unless they set up a face-face meeting of myself and their CEO or general manager. As for Generac, I filed a complaint with them about their vendor, and about their non-functioning battery, asking them for information about who ordered the battery, order numbers, etc. That was two days ago and I haven’t received any response from Generac. I may have signed up for arbitration with the solar company, but not with Generac. Are there any class action lawsuits against Generac Solar Products wholesale? If not, it sounds like there should be one!

    I have a power cell system by Generac. It has had a error code on the system and has not worked properly since July 2022. I have had seven appointments for the tech to come out and fix the problem all of which have been canceled. Once they get your money they are done with you and don't care about the quality of there product.
