    I purchased a Whirlpool washing machine on 11-26-22. I also paid $75 at the purchase time for installation.Installers came today and hooked up the washer. As they "tested" it, the installer mentioned to me that they did not replace the hose from the hot water to the machine due to corrosion on or near the valve. After they left, I ran a small load of laundry. Water ended up on the floor, and the machine ran for over an hour before I turned it off. I called the store to state what happened. The person I spoke to said he was sorry but there is nothing they could do. He recommended that I call a plumber. I told him I purchased installation, and expected a successful installation, not one that will only successfully use the machine if the installers don't have problems. Did I have the option to have my old machine returned and hooked up, along with a full refund? No, I was told. I now own a new $600+ machine machine that is not usable. If they think a plumber is needed to successfully complete the installation, they should arrange for this and at no cost to me. I was not told at purchase time (or even when the installers arrived) that they could not successfully complete the installation, or I would not have had them even start the process.

    My husband and I purchased and paid for 4 new kitchen appliances on January 8, 2024. We were told it would be 2 to 3 weeks for them to arrive. The beginning of February, my husband called and asked about our order and was told they were waiting on one of the appliances, and it would be another 2 or3 weeks. We never received a phone call or email. Saturday, April 6, 2024, I emailed the company asking for a status update. Around 11:00 a.m., I called Dubuque Appliance and spoke to a gentleman. He confirmed the road we live on and said he would go to the warehouse to see what was there and would call my husband since his number was listed on the order. He never received a phone call! It will be 3 months tomorrow that we bought and paid for appliances we still don't have.
