I got furniture through Ashley home store and for 3 yrs automatic payments. My bank switched over to Wells Fargo for banking and 1 payment was missed by 5 days due to a billing error on wells fargo side. I went into the branch and paid by cash was told the late fee was waived and everything was current. November payment came out no issue. But I kept getting calls about the late fee I paid additional money at the bank Nov and Dec plus the auto payment. Jan 2024 I'm still getting calls because the branch office don't see what my local branch can see with my receipts of payment. And now I can't get anyone to rectify this situation. It's been paid and I keep getting the run around we will call you back this is handled and today my credit report has been docked. And I STILL can not get anyone on the phone. This is not ok .15 calls from myself to get this straight and NOONE CAN ACCEPT the call or get this straight and now it's affecting my credit score. Never do business with Wells Fargo ever! This is exhaustingReview from JORGE M

I have a Business checking and credit card account with *********************************************. Me and my Business partner have a few personal credit cards with Wells Fargo and we are now considering taking all of our accounts to another Bank. Recently one of my personal Wells Fargo credit card had its credit limit decreased by more then half. I went from having a $10,000 limit to $4100.00. My credit card utilization went from under 40% to 96%. The reasons for the decrease were not valid or hold any merit. Due to the actions of Wells Fargo my credit score has dramatically changed for the worst and has disrupted my personal credit. I would not want anyone to go through this like I have. Shame on you Wells Fargo.Review from JULIE N

Horrible! This bank does not care to help you. Me and my husband both were out of work due to covid and I asked for help for 1 month, that was all we needed. Wells Fargo wanted pay stubs sent and I had to complete different forms. I receive a letter stating it could take up to 30 days to render a decision. I needed help now, not 30 days from now. Instead I ended up getting my other bills postponed, which was much easier than dealing with Wells Fargo. Go anywhere but here! They do not care about you nor will they help you in a bind.Review from Andrey W

Some of my lighter complexion friends love them. They've had my info and all requested documents for a month and I'm still waiting on an answer for Preapproval. If your a minority they will drag you along for months with no answers. Just sweet words of wait, we processing and wait some more. They have discriminatory practices.Review from Kerry W

They make mistakes and then blame the customer. They waste your time and have no interest in solving the problem. I would never, never, never get a mortgage with them again. 2 big mistakes in last 6-8 years. Stay away.Review from sherylene c

I had additional monies taken out every month towards the principal. Looking at my statements the last few years the additional money keeps getting lower. Long story short escrow changes about every year if you don't pay the difference on escrow your payment goes up. My payment never went up they were taken from my additional monies toward principal. Hope this wasn't done on purpose, so my loan doesn't get paid off sooner. This is my only issue I had with Wells Fargo.Review from Michael R

****** is the worst banking "professional" I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Absolute disrespect on her part. I will never use Wells Fargo again, after 7+ years and $10M + in deposits. I suggest you bank ANYWHERE other than here.Review from Deborah B

I am a Registered Nurse who has not been able to work since 2016 and had to retire early due to serious medical conditions including Giant Cell Arteritis, decreased cognitive function, depression, anxiety, hypertension, severe arthritis of my spine, hips, recent right shoulder surgery ( August 2023) . My disability was stopped abruptly by UNNUM in December 2022 after untrue statements. ***** then denied me the appeal opportunity they had given me Since With a lone pension check of $1,343.25, I was unable to pay my Mortgage. I reached out to Wells Fargo who transferred me to their home preservation department and was assigned to a Counselor who worked with me until he abruptly stopped. I filled an application form and sent 39 pages to Wells Fargo, only to be denied any assistance, though my house has some equity on it. . Long after they offered me options and I chose to keep my house with a 90 day grace ****** that was honored.I applied for State Assistance and the State paid the 3 months arrears on my Mortgage. From then up to present, my mortgage is paid every month in full, devoting my complete pension check and then some. As soon as the State paid the arrears, within days Wells Fargo billed me for a one month payment. I went to the ********************************** **************** for seniors and reported same to a Social worker. In my presence the Social worker was told I only owe one month in truth. To this day this extra payment of $1611.89 is still on my bill. Wells Fargo has also written me harsh letters threatening to evict me etc. this was also brought to their attention by the Social worker. Wells Fargo recently increased my Mortgage payment from $1,611.89 to $1,897.55 as of 11/1/23. They kept $1000.00, I paid that was not the full payment for my mortgage although I asked for it. A lien for $1000 plus/ utility was sent to them by the ************************. I feel that I am being financially abused and humbly request some assistance please. Thanks . *******Review from Shadrach R

Do not use Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. They are incompetent, slow and rude. They lie about fees and returns. They told me they could handle my traditional land contract but after 6 weeks the underwriters kept asking for the wrong documentation. They communicate poorly. They wasted alot of my time. Took money for appraisal which they would hold and then only returned part of it saying they charged for a credit check. Which was unnecessary since they lied about their ability to handle the mortgage. Realizing their incompetence I cancelled my application. While trying get status of my refund I was ignored and treated rudely by ***********************, **************************** and *********************. I recommend avoiding this company and these agents. **** is supposed to be the supervisor so his inattention to this matter is extra negligent. Run away from this lender.
