I'm a brand new customer to F&G. Just rolled over my 401K plan. I already had an issue on Monday 1/8/24. My 401K company(Principal) sent the roll over check to F&G and they typed ***** on it. I called F&G, asked them to stop from depositing the check, and to send the check back to Principal for a new check. F&G responded immediately, were professional, helpful and got it taken care of without delay. I confirmed with Principal they received the communication from F&G and will be mailing the new check to F&G this week. Kudos to both F&G and Principal for their customer service.Fidelity & Guaranty Life Response

I am an annuity policy holder. I called F&G Life today to get help in closing out my annuity. After a long hold I was connected with Terry who was snappy, rude and treated me with contempt. I am a highly accomplished corporate psychology and author of more than 25 books in print. As a client of F&G I am entitled to be treated with courtesy and respect. I don t like the costumer service of this company i m not content with it. I ve been trying to cancel this policy through the agent Gustavo ***** and he doesn t advanced in the cancelation he doesn t pick up the phone he s just ignoring how unsatisfied i am. STAY FAR AWAY. I'm an insurance agent and this is undoubtedly the worst company I've ever dealt with. Their phone representatives give wrong information over and over and when trying to correct, they take no accountability for THEIR errors. Calls to supervisors and their worthless "compliance" department go forever unreturned, no matter how many voicemails are left. There is ZERO follow through. I wouldn't sell their products for 100% commission. Not worth their incompetence.Fidelity & Guaranty Life Response

Worst customer service ever I have been given Miss information multiple times when trying to withdraw my money or just to do a quick withdrawal paperwork is a nightmare. Ive been trying to get money put into my clients bank account since 10/8/23. Every time I call them they find something wrong with the papers Ive since. They keep asking or want something else. They keep telling my client that theyll call back but never do. They have $225, 000 of his money, but its like putting socks on an octopus to get it back. This literally is abuse. Worst service ever. I called to initiate benefits on 11/3/2023 and was told I would receive a response within 10 days. Twenty six days later, I have received no response, I have called 4 times and now am told that it could be up to 16 weeks before they can do a "manual calculation". This will be far past my retirement date. . the website doesn't allow any communication or access to a secure mailbox to send messages. The *** (Alight) doesn't work either as my employer is not listed. There is no communication other than the phone calls that I have initiated. My HR states that I have to resolve my pension through their service as they have contracted with them. Avoid this company at all costs.Fidelity & Guaranty Life Response
