I started taking my son a few months ago. Before I took my son I heard bad reviews and then I heard there was a new director and possibly some changes because of that. After some time, there was another new director coming along. I noticed things were starting to get better, staff was slightly friendlier and seemed more caring. Abruptly, this new director disappeared and now the previous director, which had said was going to retire when I first got there, is now the director again. I quickly noticed things were not getting any better. Staff seemed careless with the children and parents. I did not like how some staff members treated some kids in a harsh manner, in a stern tone of voice and sometimes even handling them inappropriately (grabbing them by the arm) I actually witnessed at one point a staff member grab a toddler by the arm off a chair. I quickly had told the then new director and she explained to me that she was going to speak with her and also in the process of doing some sort of training with the staff members or care takers I mean. Every time I leave my son in the morning there is not many staff members and many kids for just one or two adults. I definitely feel this place needs better staff members that actually care about their job and the kids most importantly. I found that certain staff members get favoritism where they feel they can just have a long conversation with the director and doesn't really acknowledge parents as they come and go. I feel for the amount of money being paid every week you would think they'd care a little more, but I understand some parents get childcare assistance and perhaps that is why they don't care as much. I just would not ever want to bring my son back to this place.
