    Two ************************ claims filed on 7/2/22 and 7/7/22, six months ago. Two BBB Complaint #******** filed 7/31/22 and complaint #******** filed 8/1/22 re cross country move 5/31/22 thru 6/1/22 from ******, ******** to **********, ********. Damage happened during the move. ****, delivery driver knew the day of delivery there was damage. Have text exchange with **** & two claims filed with movers insurance response in early July and no response. Movers did respond to my BBB complaints accusing me of lying, filing claim for posessions that were already damaged and no one still has contacted me. Last time I reached out to movers was with ******* in *********, **** office on 12/15/22. Per *****: "The claim must be submitted in writing to your mover or to your mover's third party company for claim processing. After you submit your claim, your mover has 30 days to acknowledge receipt of it. The mover then has 120 days to provide you with a disposition. The mover might be entitled to 60-day extensions if the claim cannot be processed or disposed of within 120 days." I don't understand why no one contacts me, it's been over 120 days. My files of damage pictures and text exchanges are too large to attach. Damage from our murdered daughter's urn to a antique ******** wooden rocker. Because I was accused of lying and no one reaching out to me for a move that happened nine months ago I am requesting a full refund.     My apartment is being remodeled and my landlord CHI paid to have them move me across the street into another building they own. They damaged two tv stands and a dining room table that I purchased in January and NEVT used. After calling to complain I was supposed to teceive a call back however the manager ****** never called me so I had to cal back several times. I also sent several emails. After sending pictures and receipts from Amazon they said they would only take responsibility for the table. Their movers never properly protected my furniture and stood them on in their ends so they could use the elevator instead of carrying them upright up the stairs. I have witnesses that live in my building that this was done. So I decided to show ***** and not worry about my two tv stands. I had asked the manager ****** to explain why my furniture was not protected properly and stood on their ends and he never acknowledged my question or answered it. When he came back with a settlement offer it was for less than what I paid for the table which was NEVER used. When I said I wasnt satisfied he said because of state law he couldnt reimburse me for sales tax or shipping. First of all I never paid shipping it was free through Amazon and secondly I was told by the **************** that he was lying about the sales tax. They are franchised so the corporate office said they would contact him about the complaint however it was up to them to decide what to do. The lack of customer service and integrity by ****** as the manager was very disappointing. Beware of using them and make sure that you watch the movers to ensure they are properly protecting your furniture. I obtained all items that were damaged within the last 3 years and put them together and never moved them before they were handles by Two Men and a Teuck. NOT happy.

    The settlement offer she was given was based on the depreciated value of the table from the original purchase price. The person who runs the complex and set up the moves told us that we did not damage the TV stands which is why we declined to claim for that damage. She did call several times and as she was told we had to investigate her claims and determine the best way to handle her issues. Once the investigation was done and the information, we needed to gather had been completed we gave the cash settlement offer. The offer is a fair offer for the value of the table. Our corporate office never told her we were lying to her as they don't determine any value for any damages handled by the franchise locations. We have to follow guidelines given to us by the states in which we operate and that is what we did. Also, she was told and explained that in her particular move items were dollied because of the distance they had to walk between apartments since they were not being loaded into a truck. Her statement even contradicts itself. She says all items were purchase new in January and also says they were all purchased in the last 3 years. They can't all be new in January and in the last 3 years.
