    I hired this company mid Nov of 2024 to take down 2 large trees **** did not give me a contract but said It could be done in the next two weeks he came the next day and took two branches off my fence that had fallen from the neighbors tree, I gave him ****** as a down payment, he gave me no receipt. Ive called him several times and have text him, its been 6 months now and he is not taking my texts or calls anymore he has not been back. To remove the trees I feel he has scammed me out of my money

    I hired Johns Elite Tree Service LLC *************) to; cut down a dead/dying tree in my yard, remove all wood from my property, grind the ***** down 18 inches and fill the hole with dirt. The agreed upon price was 1400.00$ of which I would pay 800.00$ as a down payment. John's Elite Tree Service LLC (JETS) was to begin this task on 6/2/2023 and finish on 6/5/2023. On 6/2/23 **** arrived at my home to begin work but refused to accept a check for the down payment. I agreed to give him cash if he would provide a receipt. When I arrived with the cash he stated he forgot his receipt book. I agreed to pay him the 800.00$ downpayment as long as he signed something on notebook paper proving the transaction. He agreed and I paid the 800.00$. JETS began removing some smaller limbs from my tree and stated they were finishing for the night and would return and complete the job on 6/5/23. 6/5/23: JETS failed to do any further work on my tree. When I called to find out why he rescheduled to complete the job on 6/7/23. 6/7/23: JETS does not call or show up to do the job. I call on 6/8/23 to find out why and they reschedule for 6/12/23. 6/12/23: JETS does not call or show up to do the job. I call on 6/13/23 to find out why. Claims death in family and rescheduled for 6/19/23. 6/19/23: JETS arrives at my home and puts a ladder in my yard but does no work. Then on 6/20/23 JETS comes back to my home to retrieve the ladder, but does no work. I call and JETS rescheduled to complete work on 6/21/23. 6/21/23: JETS does not call or show up to do the job. Claims another death in family rescheduled for 6/24/23 & 6/25/23. 6/24-625/23: No call no show. I call on 6/27/23 and JETS does not answer. Then at approximately 2:30pm on 6/27/23 two employees of JETS arrive at my home, remove the limbs they cut down on 6/2/23, and state they will return tomorrow (6/28/23) to finish the job.6/28/23-current: no call, No Show.I do have audio recordings of some of our calls.
