We had a Neuspeed supercharger overhauled. Lasted less than 50 miles. Completely seized up. We sent it back for assessment. What we got is fabricated accusations of modifying the charger after receiving it. Something about us removing access plugs (which we never did). Fact it, the bolt holding the bypass valve plate wasn't secured and got sacked in, destroying the supercharger. We were told that we removed that bolt. Why would we do that is beyond me. There were other accusations of our actions, never a possibility of their mistake. Poor business model. Definitely won't be sending anything else there. Beware of poor workmanship but most importantly lack of warranty. One of the quotes from the owner when talking about possible reason of failure was: "it could be a squirrel, it could be a ****** the Tank Engine". Very unprofessional.

Customer service date: 12/5/23. Full rebuild of customer supercharger. 1 year limited warranty covers workmanship and materials.

    Warranty expiration date 12/5/24.

Customer asked to send item for warranty evaluation on 9/2/25, citing failure of the item in 50 miles.

We disassembled and inspected the supercharger and provided documentation at no charge to the customer.

Observation: It arrived very dirty and filthy for the claimed 50 miles, just installed, unless this is 50, 1 mile races at a track over 2 years. Arrived with original work disturbed, bypass removed, bypass butterfly softplug removed and a rubber plumber plug installed with gooped up silicone all over. There was also a stripped out vacuum port that was plugged with silicone and a threaded bolt. None of this work is our workmanship or materials. There are 2 bolts, located behind this missing softplug. One was loose, and the other was missing. Both of these bolts have locktite installed by the bolt manufacturer. The locktite is one time use, and the bolt must be replaced. Someone disturbed these bolts after installation, evidence from the removal of the softplug. The missing bolt was found, inside the supercharger. The bypass was removed from the supercharger on arrival. Customer claimed it was so that it would fit in a smaller box. We beleive the customer has attempted to adjust his bypass for some reason, removed the softplug, left the bolts loose, and then, to plug the hole, used a plumbing rubber plug and silicone to seal it. They also used the same silicone and a bolt to fix a stripped out hole. We would never use these items to repair. We would have drilled and tapped the threaded hole for a proper brass NPT plug and we would have used a brass softplug to replace the original.

Original warranty is denied as time has lapsed.

Goodwill warranty is denied as the problem area has been disturbed and original parts are missing with a plumbing softplug installed. Paint marker marks that we use were disturbed on the drive snout and a softplug that a customer should not need access to was removed and missing from the supercharger. Goodwill repair has been declined due to this evidence.

We attempted to discuss these findings, but the customer had their mind already made up when we called with our finding. Customer is already making this topic, his life mission to defame us on the internet, without providing any factual findings to go along with it.

Note: In none of our communication did we cite anything relating to a squirrel or ****** the Tank engine. He is citing decade old ******** posts, where we literally found a squirrel in a supercharger and a ****** the Tank engine toy. None of these events involved this person.

Wow. Thank you for the kind words. I am so accustomed to getting attacked by people on a daily basis, I actually approached logging in to see this in a different mind set. Thank you- I needed this for the soul. You are welcome!
