I was unaware of any continuing issue with the repair needed..  I sent the contractor out to do the work the owner needed based on her independent inspection report prior to the sale and then again after the sale of the home was completed and a third and fourth time as I know of to finish the job. I did not know she was having any kind of issue with the contractor completing the work and was told  by the contractor than it had been completed.  I never knew there was any issue with the sewer as we had replaced everything brand new and was not told by the contractor or the inspector that there was any issue further underground either.  I was very excited about the work and end result of the house and was very upset to find out from her attorney that she was having trouble.  I am currently awaiting further information from him to settle this and have tried to make repairs a couple different times after the home was sold so everything would be good for her.  It wasn't until I received the letter from the attorney that I found out that had not happened by the contractor I sent to finish those repairs for her. The delay in response was due to the wrong company being notified of the problem, New Life Homes LLC (in ****) is a different company, the correct business name for the company that sold this house in **** is New Life Homes Renovations LLC (foreign entity business name) so the paperwork was being given to the wrong place and therefore took longer for the response and the correction/solution to take place. I am currently awaiting more information from her attorney and am trying to correct the issue currently.  I am very sorry that this happened.  We pulled every permit needed from the city and passed every city inspection for the work that was done.  I never imagined there would be any issues after having been passed by the inspector that said it was completed and working.

A contractor did come out 1 when I notice the roof leak and went up in the attic and stated the insulation was dry on top but wet on the bottom and he would send someone out to paint the ceiling.  I showed him everything that was wrong. 1. missing electric cover in basement .2 shower in basement was not  sealed and it not stable.  I stated that is not fixing the issues. ceiling in bedroom office kitchen damage.  He sent a contractor out and he did not do anything because it was not fixing the problem.  A week later around 9:30pm  it started to rain real hard and I went to the basement and open the door and it looked like I was living in Negara falls.  I called my relator and she took pictures and reached out to the seller realtor.  I was told they would come out the next day after I got off work.  They showed up at at 10:30 for 10 mins and left and they showed back up at 2:30pm and stayed for about 10 mins and left.  I reached out to my realter and she was told that I did not need to be home and they  did not need to get in. I then contacted another home inspector and had the house inspected again. The second inspection was worse.  I sent a copy of the report the my realtor and the seller realtor.  The seller realtor stated I signed the papers and he was removing himself.  He would not give me any phone numbers and stop responding.  I have all the texts and pictures if you want them.  That is when I reached out for legal advice.  From the time I contacted an attorney, every week it was something new.  I am suppose to be enjoying the house and not worried about what is going to happen next.   Last week the cabinet detached  from the wall, it only has 2 screws and I had to move all my dished before they where broken.  Every week it's something new.

I have had to deal with the following issues.

    1. Sewer backup , lost everything I had to make a claim on my insurance 17K, 20K to replace line from the house to drop in the alley.  This was notice that it was know because it alley was **** in green.  I have had all trees cut down except for 2 which has to come down and because of the roots.

    2. Gutters were not clean and water was coming into the house 39K to have clean and leafguards put on.

    3. Mice and ********* ants, Pest control came out and sealed all areas of the house.

    4. Area of near vent in living room $580 to make floor stable (contract who was install carpet almost got hurt.

    5. Now that it's getting cold, the downstairs is very cold and the crawl space is not properly insulated.  The bedroom off the kitchen is very cold also with a draft of cold area.

    6. the two windows in the kitchen are to low to the ground and need to be moved up.

    7. The steps leading to the basement is missing a step and is a hazard, refused to fix at closing and long with a hand rail.

8 missing electric cover in basement .

    9. shower in basement was not  sealed and it not stable.

Everything that I am complaining about that needs repaired and or reimbursed is being sent to attorney.

I have more and will send pictures if requested.
