The Maui Sports & Entertainment Council (MSEC) is a private non - profit organization created to attract major sports, sports groups and entertainment events to Maui. The expressed mission is " to establish Maui as the Sports & Entertainment Capital of the Pacific ". The primary goal is to use sports events, entertainment events and entertainment related meetings as an economic development tool by promoting Maui as a premier destination to hold first class events of a sports and entertainment related nature.
