Disappointing, counterproductive, poor communication, less care, and not illegal. My wife and I are both Army retirees. When we see 'Soldier to Soldier', it means something. It means that we can expect clear, concise communication. It means that we can expect professionalism. If this business is, in fact, run by a former Soldier, then I would put money on that not being a Senior Enlisted Soldier or Officer. I would bet that he is not a retiree, either. The treatment that we received would only come from a one and done enlistee with little to no leadership experience. I could be wrong, but if I am the Army just is not what it used to be. This company does not have the interest of the sellers or potential buyers. In essence, their only concern appears to be their $5k, non-refundable flat fee. This week, my wife and I saw a home for sale that was posted by Soldier to Soldier. Our realtor was on the mainland to attend an annual company conference. My wife and I really wanted to view this home, but we did not have our realtor with us to make it possible. I attempted to call Soldier to Soldier. I did not get an answer, but I received a text that he was with a client and could only text. That is great communication, actually. I sent a text explaining that our realtor was out-of-state but would do all of the paperwork if we wanted to put in an offer. It was added that we are using a VA Loan and have already been pre-approved for the cost of the home and did not want to miss a chance to see this home. Our realtor scheduled a viewing for two days later. House sold the next day and our viewing was canceled. Seller could have made more, buyers could have at least had a chance. They got their $5k, so they don't care. If they believe in their service and their company, then they should join the BBB after 7yrs of business, or do they fear actually being held accountable for their poor business practices?
