      Aloha,1) I am a **** Estate Agent working with RE/MAX ALOHA HOMES in *************. I was hired by my client, ************************* to sell her home in *********************************************************** 2) ***** had purchased this home in Oahu, that she visited every other month, and had another residence in **********.3) ***** noticed a rodent problem. Since she was off island and I had access to the unit she asked for a recommendation, I suggested Aloha Termite.4) Aloha Termite had quoted my client $150 for the job, and I was their point of contact as I was on island and I had keys to the property.5) ************ was no show couple times, and after they got in the property, they started charging ME, the real estate agent, not the homeowner. Note they are charging $500, not $150.6) I have called multiple times to clarify to Aloha Termite that I was merely 'boots on the ground', but that my client is responsible for the bill and provided them her information multiple times.7) They chose to ignore this, they have never contacted the homeowner, and are now putting my name through a collection agency to affect my credit.8) I have emailed them AGAIN with my client's information, I will never recommend this company again.

      Here are details of our investigation and summary of findings. A solution has been provided to the customer:

       

      • Claimant: ************************* hired us to do rodent work for a home that she represented as a sellers agent. She represented the previous homeowner, ************************* for the property at ********************************************************************
      • Our field sales agent, *************************, provided her with a quote for rodent work to be done.
        • The pricing of $150 versus $500 may have been a conversation that had multiple solutions provided to ****** to address rodent work.
          • $150.00 = Rodent removal or rodent exclusion service
          • $350.00 = 3 day rodent trapping
      • Attached you will find the work orders showing work that was done in December
      • Kindly note that, ***** did not contact us directly for the service, therefore services were initiated with ****** to be sole responsible party.
        • ****** provided Karens information after the services were completed and we have not received any response from **************************
      • After researching company policies and procedures against Aileens dispute the service charges have been forgiven.
      • We will be refunding the claimant her payment to our collection agency, ***********************
      • I delivered the solution directly to ****** this morning and she accepts the solution.

      I had not addressed the previous message as I was awaiting for the other party to fulfill their part. They mailed a check, and I received this on Friday so didn't have a chance to respond sooner. Thank you so much!
