5 starsWe absolutely LOVED our every moment in the Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary! Our Guide, ********, was not only knowledgeable about every aspect of the cloud forest, she was connected & attuned to its messages. We felt we were on sacred ground, knowing ************ family, back in ****, planted these gorgeous trees which grew to create the forest canopy, as well as simply being in the presence of this incredible ecosystem that gives benefit to the Big Island in many ways, including replenishing the aquifers. We were a part of Mother **************, breathing ************** was a JOY & a BLESSING to be there! We also met *****, one of Normans kids, who is now the Matriarch of this Cloud Forest Sanctuary. So much Beauty, Synchronicity, and Amazement to beholdwe highly recommend taking a Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary Tour! Jane&Paul

5 starsOur recent visit to the Kona Cloud Forest was nothing short of enchanting and truly awe-inspiring. As we ascended the hill towards this sanctuary, the lush surroundings gradually unveiled the re****able private estate, a labor of love spanning decades, meticulously curated and preserved by ****** and his family. Today, under the guidance of his daughter *****, the estate stands as a testament to their dedication.The forest tours and healing ceremonies take on an elevated and harmonious quality within this breathtaking setting. We had the privilege of participating in a sound bath held in an open-air pavilion adorned with a disco ball, and an array of top-tier therapeutic sound therapy tools -- including exquisite singing bowls and resounding gongs. The design of the pavilion allows the vibrations to envelop you from the ground up, and our facilitator, ******, appeared tailor-made for this role. Her ****** kindness, willingness to explain the rituals and the profound purpose behind our gathering, her soothing voice, and her masterful command of the instruments all added a uniquely special dimension to the experience.Our journey on the island began with the sound bath immediately upon landing in Kona, driving directly from the airport. The experience set the perfect tone for our island adventure and allowed us to cultivate appreciation, both for ourselves and for the re****able island we were about to explore.If your travels bring you to ******, do not miss the chance to immerse yourself in the enchanting and magical world of the **** Cloud Forest. 5 starsHow fabulous it was, to immerse myself in the rich, cool, forested area of the Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary. My body soaked up the energetic feeling in this cooperatively planted forest paradise. The trees, birds and interesting plants have a tremendous wow factor, indeed.After the 2 1/2 hour walk, there was a hop in my step, a song in my heart and hope for our future. 5 starsOf all the attractions that I visited on the Island of *******, there is something extra special about this emerging attraction. The forest is breathtaking and worth the time spent there, the guides are knowledgable, and the whole point of the sanctuary is to preserve and showcase the fascinating eco-system of the island. I did a sound bath which was an extraordinary experience to be able to hear the water tap on the roof and the tropical birds in additional to the crystal ****** Definitely a worth-it experience for any visitor.Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary

5 starsEducational, beautiful and relaxing! If you want to know about the biology of the island, go no further! Our guide shared a history of the lava landscaping, had a vast knowledge of plants and their native uses, and even offered a short meditation at the top of the forest. I've always been into foraging, but since I just moved here I didn't know what to look for - the guide showed us how to identify each foragable plant. If you're a ********** or just plain into learning about cool biomes, this was by far the BEST tour of the island. Oh and you get to meet rescue macaws and cockatoos!Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary
