I entered into a contract with JC Contracting to install a new roof on my house located at ************************************** I paid half to start the job ******* up front to start the job on 12-09-22. his crew showed up on 12-10-22. I was told the job would be completed in 6 days start to finish. Tear out and removal of existing roof out was started on 12-13-22 at the end of the day the inside of the house was so full of dust and dirt covering all furniture, bedding, appliances and more, as it was coming through the vaulted ceiling raining down into the house. I went down to get plastic tarps from Ace Hardware to cover the inside of the house to keep it from getting dirtier than it already was. I have the receipt for the plastic tarps I provided. Trash from the roof was thrown off all four sides of the house creating a huge mess which to this day still has not been cleaned up. Not to mention a safety hazard. Tarps should have been placed on the ground to catch the debris. On ***** and ***** it rained and water came inside destroying everything. I called **************** the contractor along with other guys from his crew to come out and deal with the problem but no one returned my calls. I also sent videos of the water leaking into the house but still no reply. *** never came out to inspect the problem or returned any of my phone calls accept one time to call and ask for final payment. If **************** had instructed his men to put tarps on the roof they had just torn off, in my opinion, there would have been no water damage. Also if he had completed the installation in a timely manner he would have avoided the rain storm. Water not only leaked into the first floor but penetrated all the way down to the third floor. I called Premiere Restoration to come out and start the water damage mitigation whic the did the next day. All my tennants have moved out as the house is unlivable. I'm loosing ********* a month in rents untill this problem is fixed. Repairs stand at *********
