      I am reaching out to file a formal complaint against Hermes regarding a purchase I made that has not only been extremely disappointing, but also indicative of blatant disregard for customer satisfaction, fair business practices, and transparency in handling issues. My experience with Hermes has left me frustrated, and I feel that the Better Business Bureau should be aware of the highly concerning actions on Hermes part.On 09/26/24], I purchased a luxury handbag from Hermes with the expectation of receiving a top-tier product, both in terms of quality and customer service. However, what I actually received was far from what I had anticipated. Upon delivery, I discovered the handbag was significantly damaged. The damage was clearly present upon unboxing, and I took immediate photographs to document the issue as proof. This is unacceptable for any product, let alone one in this luxury price range that prides itself on craftsmanship.The issues escalated when I contacted Hermes customer service to request a full refund. Despite my documented evidence, Hermes has refused to take responsibility, instead choosing to dismiss my claim by asserting that the item was no longer in original condition. This rationale is entirely unfair and unfounded given that the damage was present upon receipt, not due to any action on my part. I expected Hermes to stand by the integrity of their craftsmanship or take accountability for mishandling during shipment, but instead, they refused to accept any responsibility.

      The client placed an order for a handbag on September 26th, 2024. The order was delivered to the client on September 30th, 2024. The client contacted us on October 14th stating the bag was not in its original condition. The client returned the bag to us, which we received on October 21st, 2024. The item was received with signs of wear and was sent in its original condition. We offered to clean the bag for the client, which the client refused. We returned the bag to the client on November 6th, as we are unable to offer a refund. We remain available at **************** should the client wish to send her bag in for cleaning.
