Tl;dr: **************** and apparently unwilling to fix damage that they've caused to customers' vehicles.I took my car in for a safety inspection, and I needed my rear tint removed in order to pass, so the shop attempted to remove it. After 7-8 hours, they finally returned my car to me, but the tint wasn't fully removed. There's still a thin film of tint left on the windshield, which has made it unsafe for me to drive the car, especially in rainy weather.I took my car to a nearby tint shop to fix ***** error, and his assessment was that someone inexperienced with tint tried removing my tint. The shop owner then let me know that he would have to damage my rear defrosters in order to scrape the rest of the tint off, since the remaining layer is so thin. Rather than shelling out another $150 to have my windshield properly tinted and settling for damaged defrosters, I decided to try going back to the dealership to get some assistance.I spoke with ******* (from the *** dealership) and let him know that I paid full price, but received a half job, so I wanted help with sorting out the damage. He let me know that he would speak with the manager, who had left for the day, and that he would get back to me. I called back the following afternoon to check up on things, and ******* let me know thay he spoke with the manager and should have an answer soon. A couple of weeks later, I still haven't received any follow *****Review from Matthew T

Just bought a 2017 ****** Corolla from Mini of Hawaii at ****************** in Honolulu. I am deeply dissatisfied with them. I trusted that they did a through inspection of the vehicle with their 21 point check and discovered that the safety check was expired...from 9/20. I reported it to the sales person who said that he couldn't do anything to remedy the issue. He informed me that "if I get a ticket for the expired safety, just bring the ticket in and management will pay for it." This is not a solution to the problem of buying a car from a reputable dealer that i cannot drive.******************Review from Justin G.

Hello,Just wanted to share my experience with this company in Hawaii. A little background I am currently on Active Duty for 17 years now but not looking for any special considerations or anything I just believe it's wrong for this company to do it period to anyone. My experience is that my wife bought a vehicle from Mini of Hawaii which is owned by *** of Hawaii. During that time they sold us a car that was *****-infested and we decided to sell it back to them. Once we sold it to them it took 5 months are constantly reminding them to send us the check that was owed to us. Every time I called and reminded them about it they were constantly blamed by the bank of USAA. I spoke to the bank each time and they confirmed that is was issues with the dealership. Eventually after 5 months was able to have both of them on the line together and we finally sorted it out and receive the check. During those 5 months, it was a struggle to operate with one vehicle since I am at work Monday Through Friday 0600-1700 hours with a wife and two children at home. I also during this time frame was struggling with addiction and self-referred to rehab to receive help for myself and my family. Once I finish my rehab was then able to get the matter resolved. Months have gone by and more health issues have come up with me and my main focus is to ensure my family is taking care of. With this, my finances were in trouble and I went to sell my car to *** of Hawaii to see if I can save money. The money they were giving me for my vehicle was $5000 under the ***** Blue Book Value and I couldn't get them to meet my financial goals to purchase a newer vehicle. I then got reached out to ***************** in Hawaii with my ***** Blue Book offer and they were able to give me a fair amount of the vehicle according to the offer with no issues or negotiations. This is when I spoke back to *** of Hawaii and realized they both are owned by the same owners. Their representative was very happy to assist me and tried to help me out but kept coming back saying that the salesman cannot go any lower with my trade-in. I could be wrong but I do think that this isn't fair if one company has no issues offering a very reliable offer from ***** Blue Book while the other just seems to want to make more profit off of someone. Again these is just my thoughts and maybe it can help others, just wanted to share my experience. Thank you so much, have a great day.Review from jamjelly

Three words: RIP. OFF. ARTISTS.This company charged thousands. Thousands of dollars to fix my car. I only agreed to have them fix one thing. No, they went ahead and fixed all the things that didn't matter, like A/C. Then, the car stops working after a day (luckily they fixed the A/C right?) So I bring it back. What do they do? Charge thousands more. What happens? They break the center console compartment AND the car randomly bogs out.At this point, I'm thinking, "are these people ripping me off?" But after calling them, they make you feel obligated to come because they say that they already ordered the part. So, I bring it back.Guess what. They say there's nothing wrong and that they're gonna charge a diagnostic fee. They're trying to get you to spend thousands so you think, "hey, having a slightly older vehicle is dumb, I better put myself into more debt and lease the newest one with all the bells and whistles."No, when a customer asks you to fix something, you only fix that one thing. DO NOT "fix" something else, ignore the thing you were supposed to fix, charge for both, cause property damage, then then around and say nothing's wrong. Oh, and then charge for your lack of service.I fulfilled my end of the deal, I dropped big bucks. All they gave me was grief.I've already called two mechanics and they've said this company is being shady. I'm gonna get a formal second opinion. Hopefully I can build a case against them. ?
