I purchased a large wide format printer from a great company, I advised them I would be seeking my own shipping company however under their advisement and how great they have worked with Honolulu Freight, I decided to go ahead and get a quote from them. Vinny was great, he quoted $990, now this was just an estimate until the item arrived, the company also sent over some ********** with the printer, Honolulu Frieght acknowledged receipt of the inks first, printer arrived about a week or so later. They were supposed to be shipped together. A few days ago, I was then quoted final shipping cost and given options to pay for this via ACH, debit/credit card or cash, I opted for cash because I did not want to pay for card fees or wait for ACH to go through. They quoted $1,785.99 final shipping cost. Mind you at this time no one has called me, all communication has been through email(I have a full time job, I rarely check my emails but for the past few days its all I have been checking) I called and left a message with the person who was supposed to schedule delivery. She didn't get back to me, I messaged again and included another agent. This time she responded that she was out of the office and her Manager ***** would get back to me with scheduling. Here comes ***** scheduling for delivery then quoting now $1967.80 stating because of the size we will need a forklift, 4 days has passed before ***** contacted me about a forklift. She also acknowledged her staffs mistake and said there was nothing they could do, it needs to be paid, she removed $82 from that and now quoted $1885 to my final charges. I responded with how incredibly disappointed I was to not just received an original quote of $960 to now having to pay double that. GUYS it gets worse, TODAY, literally 5 days after my printer has arrived the ************* is now informing me that they did not ship the inks they were supposed to. They acknowledged they know they missed it but want ME to pay for shipping. BLOWN
