Giving them one star seems generous. I should have noticed the red flags from the start. Same properties listed and never seems to be rented. I viewed 4 units at 3 locations and applied to 2 units, one with a co-applicant. At $35 per applicant this totaled $105 via AppFolio. I waited over a week for any response and non was received. I called the number on their website and got the same recording as when I scheduled the tour. No voicemail capability. I then proceeded to email their office and had my message kicked back to me stating it was unable to be delivered the message. I left messages on both their Instagram and ******** platforms and still nothing. It wasn't until I contacted AppFolio and made a complaint that no service was rendered for my payment, did I then receive an email confirming a refund. But again, not from Apartment Advisors but AppFolio. The following week, to my surprise, the listing for the same unit I applied for appeared back "on the market." I hit "interested" and got an ACTUAL response from Apartment Advisors calling me out for claiming they didn't exist. So, they're aware of their conduct and have the audacity to respond, after the fact. I advise anyone looking for a rental to NOT pay to apply unless you speak directly with a property manager live. Id also take a photo of the person showing the units as well.

As a point of clarification, all of our available units are listed on our website and once a unit is rented the listing is removed from our website. I went to two properties, at both properties I was not greater very well by the realtor. I asked him for a card at the last one, said he didn't have one. I asked him his name he said "****" don't know if it is his real name. The first apartment we encountered him, we got a little lost, when we got to the apartment and he was locking it up. He complained that we were about 10 minutes late. He had not left yet. He coped such an attitude, we just told him to forget it. He got in his car and left.Unfortunately we went to see the ************** property. We were waiting for him. Again he gave off the impression that he didn't want to be there. Telling my partner to move his car. So he did, the three of us were waiting at the door, he was so rude. Telling us all to take off our shoes. The other couple looked at me, and smirking cause they sensed his attitude. When my partner came to see it, he didn't hear **** telling us to take off our slippers. He raised his voice, rolled his eyes and shook his head because my partner had his slippers on. I looked at him and told him he was gruff and maybe he should show a bit more Aloha. He asked me, the only Ha'ole with blonde hair, "Were you born and raised here", I said no but I have been here 32 years. So he smarts off and said "I am born and raised" I replied" well I guess that makes you better than me". I was so insulted it was the most racist thing that has been said to me in a very long time. I walked out of the apartment to calm down a bit and not say something I would regret. I came back and asked him if he had a card. He told me he didn't have any. That is the only realtor I have ever been told they didn't have a card. I asked his name, he replied ****, suddenly not being condescending. I think he realized he had messed up I have been looking for properties for a long time. I have owned 4 houses on the Big Island and 2 in **********. He is the rudest realtor I have ever dealt with. So unprofessional, condescending. Racist.
