    Posting to warn others of our experience with a window install. There is no rating score low enough to represent my dissatisfaction with this company. Do not, I repeat, do not engage with Diamond Head ************************************************************* January, during the installation of our new windows, Diamond Head *********************************************** removed nine support posts from our homeposts that turned out to be structural. Initially, everything seemed fine. But over time, we began noticing cracks forming in the walls and ceilings. In addition, we have had shifting and bowing of our walls. We contacted the company and asked them to send someone out. While waiting for a response, we contacted a structural engineer to assess the situation. The engineer immediately told us the house was unsafe to live in and advised us to move out.We were forced to pay out of pocket for a hotel, and I had to take two weeks off work to install emergency bracing to stabilize the home.Our home is in a state of disrepair cracks are visible throughout, and 3 rooms require temporary bracing just to slow the progression of the damage. We're essentially living in a construction zone with a 3-month-old baby, which has been incredibly difficult. All of our plans are on hold as we try to manage this ongoing *********** forward to today: Diamond Head *********************************************** has refused to take responsibility. Despite seven weeks of ongoing communication, they have not paid us a cent or taken any action to begin repairs.If you're shopping for windows or doors, stay away from this company. What they did to our home has turned our lives upside down. I would not want any other family to have to repeat the nightmare we are currently experiencing.
