I didnt have a good experience. They kept my car over a month and when I called and asked what was going on. They said it was making a sound but insisted that it went away. So I go to pick up my car and at first its not making any noises but soon as the car warms up here comes all the squeaky noises. I called and told him it was still making noises and he insisted on it needing more work and wanted me to pay an additional $1200 when I already had paid $1764. I tried to reason and work with them but they never called me back. So no I do not recommend using them, theyre a rip off.

The customers car was delivered on a towing truck . The car was not starting.
After computer diagnostics, we found a fault with the camshaft adjuster solenoid. We decided and informed the customer that the camshaft adjuster solenoid needs to be replaced along with the camshaft adjuster gasket and valve cover gasket as is required. The customer agreed.   We also notified the customer that the *** ,which is a computer that runs the engine, might need to be replaced to which customer decided to supply that part himself.
We replaced the abovementioned parts including customer supplied *** after which the car started, but  a new fault  code appeared indicating that the camshaft adjuster  shaft is worn out , causing the rough idle and squeaking noise, and needs to be replaced . We informed the customer about that, and customer stated that he will take that car as is and will purchase the part himself and will give us a call and schedule appointment when he acquired the part. Customer paid , signed the card receipt and the confirmation of repairs and parts replacement on invoice and left without any complaints.
After about a week we were informed that the customer is attempting  to recover their payment by initiating a dispute with his bank. This has cost us $15.00 in a non-refundable chargeback fee.   We have tried to contact the customer by placing multiple calls and leaving messages. The customer never returned our calls. I can provide call logs proving this, It is also relevant that the customer lives close to the shop in the same city and could have simply stopped by and talked to us, but he chose not to.  When the dispute with the bank did not work out as we supplied all documents proving that the payment is legitimate,  the customer filed a  complaint with ******************** where he lies that he tried to contact us.
We have discovered that the customer sold the car shortly after.

I am rejecting this response because:
They lied and said the camshaft solenoid was replaced, this is where the noise was coming from but soon as I called and asked what the noise was thats what he is saying my problem still and I was like what did I just pay for. They were saying I needed to pay an additional $1200 for what I thought they had repaired. Yes I supplied the *** myself and I feel like they just got the car up and running from the supplied part and did nothing else to my car. The car was not making the noise before it broke down. Yeah I think they ripped me off and lying about me calling trying to get the car fixed. Yes it was traded in because I didnt want to keep going back and forth about it and I needed a reliable car. I have a receipt showing where they say they changed the part and didnt.
    Sincerely,

    Deterrace Crumbsy

" They lied and said the camshaft solenoid was replaced."

We did not lie- it was replaced, or do you have proof it wasnt it? If you thought it wasn't, why didn't you come to the shop and demanded to show you the old part along with the new one installed? We would gladly show, and it would have been easy to show because the connector for it is right under the plastic cover and you can see that it is new and that it has been replaced. And we would  explain all to you one more time. Why didn't you pick up the phone or called back  when we called you multiple times and left messages? Instead, you quickly sold the car and filed a dispute for the entire amount of the bill. By doing this , you effectively sealed your case and naively thought you could just "undo" your payment. Im sorry, things just dont work that way.

I feel like they just got the car up running from the part supplied"

You see, and there is the problem- you feel-and because you feel, you decide to spread lies about us. You are not a mechanic and frankly don't know what you're talking about. When camshaft solenoid is damaged and you can read it online on automotive forums if you like to educate yourself in this subject most likely the *** and camshaft adjuster shaft will be damaged too and will need to be replaced.

But again, if you had come back promptly to the shop, we would again tell you like we told you as soon as the car started and showed you that a new code appeared showing camshaft adjuster  SHAFT is worn out and that part should be replaced as well. And that is the reason for the noise.  You chose not to repair it and even said you would buy that part yourself and come back to have it installed .   Please, reread again and again until you understand what is  written here.

I am rejecting this response because:

Now they saying I didnt call which I did. And I also text which the owner said he received the text, so why he never called in response to my text. I didnt hear from them until I called them. And if the part was replaced then why was the car still having problems and yeah you said in the receipt that it was now I know it wasnt. But like I stated yeah it only started running from the *** which I supplied. So what was I charged $1764 for. Right yall didnt do anything worth that amount.
