    I drove a perfectly good running **** ***** *** diesel truck to Jiffy Lube at **** ****** **** for a routine oil and filter change. after the "service' the truck would no longer start. The store demanded payment and that I have the inoperable vehiicle towed from the premises. they claim that the nonoperational issue preexisted their work. Driven in-towed out.
    I was told by several managers that the the fuel previous service may have caused the problem. However this particular shop performed the previous service. Then I was told maybe a blow fuse. if so I maintain the fuse blew while they were under the hood. then I was told it might be a failing electric lift pump. Again, I maintain that if the lift pump went out while the were working under the hood, the the must have inadvertently shorted it out.
    I is Ludicrous to argue that the activity and tinkering of an engine in the time f***e between it starting and operating perfectly is NOT the proximate cause of the disabling of the vehicle.
