    I ordered an item (item #: *************, order #******, description: Side table DKD Home Decor 60 x 49 x 58 cm *************************** Resin) from online retailer Gullebica. On THEIR website and using THEIR calculations, I paid for shipping which was described as flat rate shipping for $23.00 (USD). Several hours later (and unbeknownst to me), they emailed me 3 times saying they needed more money for shipping because the item was classified as "oversized". It wasn't until they texted me (something I did not give them permission for) that I realized they were asking for an additional $189.90 in shipping fees. I paid $244.99 (which included shipping). This screams scam and I want one of two things to happen: if this is an actual company, then I want the product I paid for at the price I paid as determined by THEIR calculations; if this is indeed a scam, then I'm hopeful I'll at least get my money back.

    The customer was refunded. It may take **** days for a refund to be reflected in the customer's bank. If the return is not received within 15 days, the customer can contact us.

    In further text correspondence, the company owned the mistake but still did not rectify it, offering a refund instead. I will consider the refund resolution satisfied once I actually have my funds back, as their history would indicate that people have had issues getting refunds in the past.

    I ordered a storage bench/chest from Gullebica on 10/2/22. Order #********. I had to email them to get them to ship it. It finally came and was damaged. I contacted them and sent pics of the damage. They said I'd be refunded if I sent it back. I returned it immediately according to their instructions. It was received by them and they told me I'd be refunded. That was in October. It's now *************** still have not refunded my money. I have texts showing their promises to refund me, but they haven't as of yet.

    Refunds are made according to the order in a particular research and accounting department. There was a delay as the customer's product return was being investigated and this situation was reported to the customer. The customer has already been refunded. Please check the attachment.

    I'm satisfied that I received my refund; however, it was not sent to me until after I contacted the BBB. The last few texts I received from Gullebica were that they weren't sure what the delay was. One text states the "investigation" was sent to me by mistake. I just want it known that I probably would not have received my refund without the help of the BBB. I am happy it was received though. Thank you.
