I was referred by "Injury 2 Wellness" (Chiropractor) in *************, to "Neuro Spine" as Orthopedic Surgeons - who would be performing my neck and back Surgeries. The Chiropractic sessions were a total waste of time, as i never did get any relief from my injuries and pain. I arrived at neuro Spine at 1.00pm (01-27-2025). The Person who i thought was the Orthopedic surgeon (when i asked him if he was going to be my Surgeon) told me that he was not a surgeon, and only administer Epidural injections. I told him that i have had Epidural Injections in the past, and that the relief only last for about a day, and he tried to convince me that the relief would last for about two weeks. I knew that was not true and i wanted permanent healing. he insisted that i give it a try. I reluctantly agreed - because i was already there. The procedure lasted for about 20 minutes. He scheduled me for a follow-up and he scheduled me for 02/10/2025.When i got there for the follow-up, he asked how i felt. I told he the same as i felt on my first visit and that the relief only lasted for one day. He tried to get me to get another Epidural. I rejected it. I have had multiple Edipurals - in the past and the charges were $350.00 and $400.00. I was blown away when last week, i saw that they had charged $11,000.00 and when prompted by the people that referred me, they reduced it to $3,196.00 (nine times higher than the average price of $450.00). This is predatory, a scam and a sham. I see why they tried to talk me into another Epidural - during my second visit. They would have billed a total of $22,000.00.They are entitled to no more than $450.00 and they should adjust the bill - accordingly.

We have spoken to the attorney of record for Mr. ****** ******* and informed him that are billed charges our in line with the services we provided.  We didn't collect any fees time of service and Mr. ******* signed a letter of protection to pay our doctors for service rendered.  We reduced our collection amount from $11,000 to $3,196 in the interest of assisting the patient.  That is 29% of billed charges and we of course have a business to run.  Whatever charges he paid previously for injections aren't not in line with today's figures especially if you aren't paying up front for the service.

We are willing to help Mr. ******* in his time of need but we have already reduced are fees accordingly.

    Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:  Attorney ******* ******* is no longer my Attorney. He is self serving. He was hired to handle my case for personal injury and recoup my damages from the At fault driver and her ****************** but instead wanted the the minimum insurance policy coverage and worked with these crooked medical providers and kickbacks that they were to split amongst themselves. There is nowhere in the ************* that a Epidural Injection cost $11,000.00. It does not cost $3,196.00 - either. These people think they can get money from my injuries and kickbacks are received, while i am not healed.

I neither signed with nor agreed to pay Neuro Spine $11,000.00 for a Epidural injection, after i told this provider that Epidural injection was worthless and not heal my injuries and they insisted that it would cure my pain. That never happened. ******* ******* and Neuro Spine need to produce the document that i signed off on for them to be paid $11,000.00 for a Epidural Injection. I spoke with ***** ******* of Neuro Spine two weeks ago and he told me that he would call me back to reduce the overcharge of $3,196.00, but never called me back.

I have instructed ******* ******* that i will not accept the $25,000.00 check as settlement for my injuries that i am still getting treatment for and i will have multiple surgeries that cost about $140,000.00, plus future medicals. ******* ******* does not have my permission to disburse the $25,000.00 check from Alfa Insurance.

    Business Response

    Date: 10/16/2025

I'm sorry that Mr. ******* wasn't made whole with our medical services.  The goal of our Physicians is to provide care that will provide relief to the conditions that the patients are having.  Every patient is different and every outcome is different for every patient.  As to the comments about kickbacks and irregulatory practices, Mr. ******* needs to be aware that we don't have any relationships of the sort.  To make accusations of that nature is an offense in its own as defamatory in nature against our company.  We provide a medical service and the fee schedule he provided is only a guide as we're not in network with any of those provider networks.

We want to do right by Mr. ******* and leave him in a healthy place but our hourly rates for our physicians cost more than his proposed fees.  I hope we can come to an agreement where every one feels is acceptable but agreeable to the services we have already rendered.  Please be advised that we do have an outstanding balance that will need to be satisfied by Mr. ******* per his signed agreement within the Letter of Protection to pay the medical provider.

    Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:  I  have had multiple Epidural injections in the past. The last two that i had (Prior to being sent to Neuro Spine) cost $350.00 and $400.00. The average cost in the state of ******* is $500.00. ******* it). I have proof of the Kick back scheme. I was told by the chiropractor who set up the appointment with Neuro Spine that i was being referred to a Orthopedic Surgeon who was going to perform my surgery. When i got to Neuro Spine, the person that pressured me to get the Injection (after i told him that it was a waste of time) and that administered the injection, told me that he was not a Doctor and that all he does, is administer the injection. He tried talking me into getting another injection  - on my follow-up visit, which i rejected. Had i allowed that, they would have billed me another $11,000.00. They never told me what the cost would be, otherwise i definitely would have rejected the Injection.

They still have not produced the document that i supposedly signed and agreed to a Epidural Injection for $11,000.00. These people are predators and dishonest.

    Sincerely,

    ****** *******
