  The idea of publishing my book was very new to me, I had a manuscript, but I had no idea what to do with it! I reached out to a friend, who reached out to his friend who had published two novels, who reached out back to me and recommended BookLocker. I gave them a shout and right from the start I knew they were just what I was looking for.
  First off to start, their platform of communication is superb. Your author page will work back and forth powered by emails to them and back to you with an almost same day or next day response. Their main departments are headed by named individuals and your emails always get to the right person. They work with you with timing and everything proceeds according to your schedule, not theirs. Their most admirable trait is when they say they will do this or that or this or that will occur.. it always does! They are 100% dependable!
  And last, but probably most importantly, the character and demeanor of the people you work with is extremely commendable. Just two or three emails back and forth and you feel like you are sitting there face to face. BookLocker was the perfect publisher for me.. I hope they will be the same for you as well.

  Writing and getting a book published can be a stressful endeavor, especially for a first time author such as myself. I had done A LOT of research and was always disappointed until I came across BookLocker.
  REMOVEDand her team were phenomenal and provided the guidance, support and patience needed to get by debut Post-Apocalyptic Science Fiction novel (The Gene Effect) published and available to the masses. The end product was FANTASTIC and I can't say enough what a great job the entire team did in putting it all together.

  When I set out on this endeavor I knew two things: one was that I had a manuscript and the other was that there was no shortage of bad actors who would happily rob me blind while providing me with an inferior product.
  I chose Booklocker.com after reading REMOVEDHoy’s article: Six Reasons not to use Booklocker.
  After a brutal self-examination on item # 4, I decided to publish my novel, “Rugby Kisses” and could not be happier with the results.
  The entire staff at Booklocker are great! These ultra-professional, and highly knowledgeable individuals took me by the hand and patiently took me through the necessary paces. From the bottom to the top, this outfit runs like a Swiss watch. I feel very lucky that a company like Booklocker even exists, and the fact that they are masters at their craft is an added bonus.
  Self-publishing is a long shot, as are most dreams, but letting a manuscript gather dust and wither away is like being called up to the Bigs, and standing with a bat on your shoulder while watching 3 called strikes zip by the plate... At least REMOVEDand her team allowed me one mighty swing (from the heels, mind you) and that’s a hell of a lot more than most people get.
  Now the chances of me hitting a dinger are about the same as civil political discourse breaking out in the United States, but it’s so much better than not swinging at all.
  I’ll grant you that the “bestselling author” fantasy has slightly better odds than the Powerball delusion, but there truly is something magical about having a book that you’ve written in your hands for the first time. Literature has been a life-line for me for decades, and I feel truly humbled to be able to give back– even a minute fraction of what the literary collective has given to me.
  Keep pumping out the product Booklocker!

  "4.) If you are a jerk, you’d be better served by one of our competitors. We don’t work with jerks. We prefer to work with professional individuals…who have manners."
  That's actually been a great way to vet authors over the years! Jerks get very offended by that statement, while nice authors like you think it's hilarious! ;)

  This was my first experience writing and publishing a book, so I had a lot of concern going into the process. I was not sure what to expect, how the steps would work, or how difficult the publishing side might be.
  REMOVEDand the BookLocker team made the entire process easy to understand and much less stressful. They were helpful, responsive, patient, and clear whenever I had questions or needed something explained. I always felt like they cared about my project and wanted to help me move through the process the right way.

  I’ve published four books in my first series with BookLocker and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and attentiveness they deliver.
  Before I praise my experience with BookLocker, I have to say that I had originally published the first book in my series with a different company. With that company I felt like a number. No one offered any guidance to a newbie who was unfamiliar with the process, and no one went out of their way to produce an excellent product. Nothing screamed “the person who handled this aspect of the process went above and beyond for me.”
  Enter BookLocker for book 2! What an entirely different experience I had! I sent in my manuscript and had an answer from Angela quickly. She even mentioned a scene from my book that told me she’d read at least several chapters of it.
  Once I began the process, I was messaged right away. I chose my book size and paper color so the interior formatting could begin, and provided the information needed to apply for my copyright and LCCN. I worked closely with the cover designer and my book trailer producer, and didn’t have to worry about converting files for the ebook version. Everyone, every step of the way, was encouraging, knowledgeable, helpful, and took pride in their work — that much was obvious. And the communication was amazing! I always had an answer within about 24 hours!
  I repeated the process with BookLocker two more times for books 3 and 4, and even switched book 1 over to them. That should be a testament to a wonderful finished product and experience right there.
  I poured years of myself into writing these novels — my babies — and they cradled them gently with loving care. I can be immensely proud of the finished products. Hats off to Angela and her staff at BookLocker for going above and beyond for me. I’ll be haunting their doorstep again very soon as I send them the first book in my second series. :))

  I am so thankful I found, and chose, Booklocker for my first book in 2020. I have returned to them three times since, and here's why.
  Self-publishing could be a complicated, confusing task, but these folks provide clear and concise instruction and feedback, letting an author focus on creativity while they handle the nitty-gritty mechanics of getting your story out to the world.
  The staff at Booklocker, from the owner on down, regularly demonstrate how much they care about their clients - easy and pleasurable to work with, and if you ever encounter some unexpected bump in the road (you will!), there could be no more persistent advocate on your behalf than these guys (and gals) - they aren't satisfied until everything is right!
