I purchased 3 12x14' doors from Janus International Corp. The doors are fine. But I was shorted one half of the side rail vinyl draft stops. 42' to be exact. Janus stated that I only have a one year warranty and that I'm over that, so now I will have to purchase them at a cost of $386.10. This is a shortage issue not a warranty. I realize that much time has passed, but I only noticed now, since I installed heat and need them. Didn't want to install prior since I didn't need the draft stops. I figured I would store them for when needed and extend their life. This would have been a good faith gesture on Janus's part and would have cost them much less I'm sure. I explained this to them but they just referred me to a supplier.

I worked for CubeSmart Self Storage when Janus replaced all of the outside doors. They kept shakily trying to work when the security guard was not present. Showing up before hours and even forcibly trying to work while it was raining. Exposing tenants belongings to the rain. They were argumentative and disgusting. The men walked around without a shirt on, peeing outside, blasting vulgar music. They sat on peoples expensive boats and RV's. They left the place with garbage and screws, nails, and debris everywhere. They damaged tenants belongings by throwing it all around when getting into their storage. There were expensive items missing from some customers units. One customer in particular, they peed all over his trailer... and then even wrote "piss" on it. I had many customers call and submit claims. Just for them not to go anywhere. Unfortunately, I was one of the unlucky ones. After cleaning up hundreds of nails, screws, and metal debris... I ended up getting a s**** in my tire. They eventually got back to me with my claim and quoted me the price of my tire but no labor. I explained to them that I included the labor in the email. They said I'd need to resubmit my claim. I did immediately. A couple weeks later, I get a call with the same amount. I reminded the guy of our last conversation and he hung up on me... only to text me about how he doesn't see my other claim and I'm too rude for them to do anything for me. At this point, I'm no longer working for CubeSmart but I text my old boss and let him know that I'm pretty sure the customers at CubeSmart do not want to know how little CubeSmart cares... because if they only knew how the vendors behaved, they'd go running for the hills. Needless to say,h e agreed to help.Skip ahead. I receive a check with thr wrong amount. After going back and forth, Janus tells me to send it back and they will update it. I sent it back May 18th and they're still pulling my leg. This company is a joke.
