    The way this company deceives customers is ridiculous. I got a ********************** unit for my daughter in college once the dorm closed in May. I paid two months in advance. I knew the next payment was due in July, so on June 29th, I went to the portal to make the payment. I paid the balance listed on my account and received a receipt for it. Today, I received an email from the company saying that my bill was past due and I was charged a late fee, along with a lock being placed on my unit. I was so confused, because I made the payment early and I paid in full what was listed on my account. No explanation of what I paid on June 29th was given when I requested. I only received an attachment with a list of payments that I already had a copy of. I went on the site and made another payment for $115. The customer service and lack of ethics from this company is terrible. I never received an email or text about additional charges, but I conveniently received notification when they could add a late fee. This is the second time I had issues with practices at this establishment. I chose it because it was close to my daughter's campus, but I will NEVER use or recommend this business again. I told them my move out date is 8/15/25, but the portal said 8/31/25. I sent an email today asking for it to be corrected so I'm not charged extra, like they did last year. Let's see if it happens. I'm sure there will be a charge for something additional when I move my daughter's items out the unit. Such a terrible business. They should be ashamed of themselves.
