    On 05/08/2024, I visited Precision Wellness, a medical spa operating at ******************************************. I live nearby and had seen that Precision Wellness was advertising medical weight-loss services, including semaglutide injections. I am overweight and in pain from a hip injury, and was encouraged to reduce my BMI before my orthopedist would schedule me for surgery. I went to Precision Wellness to obtain more information and provided blood work and my medical history to their staff. I returned on 05/10/2024 to have a consult with a physician, who reviewed my medical history and labs, which revealed an elevated A1c value (indicating prediabetes). Thus, I was an appropriate candidate for weight loss therapy. I paid $1767 for the labwork and 3 months of weight loss therapy, and received my 1st injection that day. The medication helped reduce my appetite with nominal side effects, and I lost weight. I received a 2nd injection on 05/17/2024. When I went for my 3rd injection, the business was closed with no notice. When I spoke with their employee the following week, she apologized and scheduled me to come in on 06/01/2024 for my next injection. Thus, my 3rd injection of semaglutide was 8 days late.I left several messages the following week trying to schedule my next injection, and finally received a text response from an employee claiming "she had another nurse out" but that she was emailing me some alternatives. Her email proposed switching to self-injectable syringes of semaglutide or sublingual (oral) doses. This was not what I signed up for and I just wanted my money back.I gave Precision Wellness a total of $1,767 and only received 3 injections instead of 12 weekly injections over 3 months.
