    I purchased 9 mm 124 grain ammo from Norma Shooting directly. Last Wednesday I took it to the range and many rounds would not fire. The primer was solidly struck but no ignition. This can be a dangerous situation. I contacted Norma and was told take pic of the box and ammo and send via email. I did and have heard nothing. Not only do I want to know what happened but also refund or replacement. i wrote Dear Sir or Madam:

    Today I went to the range after having my Glock 2* totally rebuilt by Glock at the factory. I took two boxes of Norma ammo. The firsst box I had numerous failures to fire. Almost the whole box would not work. The primer would strike but the round would not ignite. I took the other box of Norma and it fire flawlessly. I also tried another brand and it too fired 100 percent. I took pictures of the box including the UPC. I took pics of 3 of the rounds and another round that I did not attempt to fire for comparison. I also took a pic of the primer struck showing the bullet is still in the cartridge.

    The ammo was purchased directly from Norma Shooting probably a year ago and has been stored in a cool dry place. You can see the primers were hit hard but they did not go off. I called Customer Service and they stated to send this email with photos. I have been shooting Norma in all calibers and never had such a problem.

    On 3/1/2024, I received a phone call from *** ***** and explained to him that we responded to his initial request within 48 hours and also provided him a copy of the email we sent because he stated that he did not receive the first email. 

    ******** confirmed he received the email and also agreed to return the product with the RMA we provided and we will process a refund once the product has been returned to our facility. I've also attached copies of our email communication.

    As stated previously, once the product has made it back to our facility, we can release your refund. I was able to check the tracking number from the return label that was sent to you via email and your return is scheduled to be delivered today. Once your return is marked delivered we will issue a refund in the form of a check in the amount of $42.95.

    On May 2, 2022 I purchased a quantity of Norma ammunition from Ammo Shop Online for $397.58. On August 28, 2022 I purchased a quantity of Norma ammunition from Texas Ammo for $403.38. On September 15, 2022 I received an email from Norma ammunition that the ammunition I had purchased was listed as unsafe to shoot and was being recalled. I had not fired any of the ammunition. I first returned the ammunition purchased from Ammo Shop Online. The package was signed for by W Williams on October 11, 2022 and I received a refund on October 20, 2022. I returned the ammunition purchased from Texas Ammo and the package was signed for by Criscky on October 17, 2022. I have not received a refund for that return. Over the past several weeks I have been in contact with ***** *., NormaShooting.com, 912-800-9332. Tonya claims the Texas Ammo package was not received. FedEx says both packages were received and signed for at Norma Ammunition. Due to my error both packages were sent with the same tracking number, but both were delivered and signed for on different days.

    Norma sold 308 ammo which was recalled. They are not providing replacement ammo but a refund for the sale price only. The problem is you cannot get this product for that price ANYWHERE, including Norma today. I am simply asking for a replacement of what they are recalling instead of a "sale priced" refund. This is several hundred dollars in price difference in the product that was recalled vs what I purchased.
