50 Floor showed me pics of the flooring I was ordering and it looks nothing like what I ordered. I'm not sure if this was installed incorrectly but it is not what I envisioned for our home as it looks like tiger stripes on my floor. This needs to be resolved and something done about this as this is not acceptable. I have tried to call the install contact to no avail as this is not a good product as they never tried to level the flooring and there are spots where it seems to be popping up.

All upstairs flooring (except one bathroom) was replaced on April 12-13,2022. On 4/13 I sent the install manager, *******, pictures of damage to a light fixture on 4/12. The installers were onsite and aware at the time it happened and said they would replace the glass cover that was broken. The second issue occurred the night of 4/13 after the install was complete. The company advertises that they move all furniture and upon completion of the flooring, will put furniture back in place. A bed was put back incorrectly which caused the frame to bend and box springs broken. I spoke with ******* and sent pictures of all damage. He said I would receive a call from ******************* a general manager with the company. There were some minor work that still had to be completed and they scheduled to come out once parts came in and those tasks were complete. On May 20th, ****************** (project ******** ***** (installer) came to inspect. An apology was given and I was assured I would receive a refund for the money spent to replace the bed frame, however the light cover was not replaceable because he had never seen that happen before during an install job. I inquired about the refund with ***** on several dates (7/13, 7/18, 8/12) via text and other dates via phone. I received one text response on 7/18 stating Double checking with accounting to make sure they have the request form submitted. Ill update you tomorrow if thats right. I did not receive an update. I have made several attempts and called the online customer service number. They took a message and said someone from the local office would call. I never received return calls. We replaced the frame twice and finally the box springs because it could not be fixed. It is frustrating that they advertise moving furniture as a selling point. Had we know the potential for these issues we would have moved the furniture ourselves. If the company would just stand by their word of making this correct that would be appropriate.

We had hardwood installed in 2016 and chose 50 floor because of the Lifetime warranty they advertise. When the install day came they had already delivered 3 in wood to the house, but that was the incorrect size, we wanted it to match the 2 inch so they went to the warehouse and got the material. The installed the product that day instead of letting the floor acclimate for a few days. The wood is now warping and we have tried numerous times with calls and emails (with photos) to get a response. We finally got a response today after a year of trying and they say that they only honor 1 year install warranty despite advertising lifetime. It is an install issue, so the manufacturer will not cover the cost and they are now saying that we have to pay to fix their spotty workmanship. They refuse to stand behind their work and are preying on consumers by advertising a Lifetime warranty without backing it up.

We do have an appointment scheduled to have the floor refinished and we will see if that remedies the issues we have.  It is important to note that they are still wanting payment to fix the issue that they caused which is unfair.  I am sure that they will lose more than $700 from the reviews I left across multiple platforms and will remain there if I am still required to pay to fix the issues.  I have gotten over 500 views.

We make every effort to exceed all our customers expectations and are regretful that you are unhappy with our resolution but appreciate you sharing your feedback.

Per your 50 Floor contract we provide a Gold Star One-Year Installation Warranty which consist of: workmanship to be professional and in keeping with standards set by the flooring industry. Should further installation service attributable to the original installation of your flooring be required, 50 Floor will return and provide that service at no cost to you for the first year of your floor.

We thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention from your 2016 installation and we look forward to working with you on 3/13.

50 floor was contracted to come out and replace the floors with a final planking. They did not follow the directions of the manufacture. And the floor has started to separate and has caused injuries to my autistic son. A manager with the company came out and admitted that it was their mistake and then I would hear back. But I never did. Ive had two separate flooring contractors come out and state that the floor was improperly installed. Additionally the manufacturer of the flooring stated they get multiple cars a week from dissatisfied 50 floor customers. They took advantage of my wife when she was single and collected the money and did not complete the job as they had Stated.

I signed a contract on 12/21/22 to have carpet installed in 3 bedroom, an office all closets, the hall and stairs. My Carpet was installed on 01/11/23 every room upstairs now Makes very loud cracking noise when walking on them. I contacted 50 floors 01/13/23 and sent them videos with the sound I was told that a manager would contact me on Monday the 16th I did not hear from anyone I called 50 floors on Tuesday 17th left a *************** back from ******* in customer service on Wednesday 01/18/23 (I've never received a call from a manager) her response to the issue is unacceptable and I told her that...( My floors were not making any noise before the installation of the new carpet she said it's the subfloor and that I would have to hire a contractor to fix the problem it makes no sense for me to have to pay someone to fix a problem that clearly wasn't there before the carpet was installed..My floors were fine before this....I am not a Happy Customer Right Now..I don't know what the installers were doing when installing but it actually sounded like a construction crew upstairs!!!

On 11/12/2022, an employee of 50 Floors, ****************** came to our home to give us an estimate on new flooring throughout our entire downstairs. During this meeting, we made it clear to ******* that we needed subfloor repairs, and showed examples of where the sub flooring was broken/needed replaced. He assured us that subfloor integrity was part of the 50 Floors installation process, and that the installers would review the condition of our subfloor and a decision on what the repair would be would be made at the time of installation. He even promised to be present during installation to ensure this happened properly. We paid the $6,500 statement. On 12/6/2022, our new floors were installed. The installation crew demoed our old floor, and replaced the new floor in a matter of hours while we were at work. There was no inspection of the subfloor, no repairs made, and ******* did not oversee the project as promised. Our new flooring is already coming apart and feels like it is floating without any support. On 12/15/22, a *********************** came to inspect the job. He confirmed there was no mention of subfloor on our installation report, and that a mistake was made during the sale. He said he said the job would be redone at cost since it was a mistake was on their end. However, an installation manager came on 12/21/22, and said we need a total subfloor replacement under our already installed flooring, quoted us $3,000+ for materials, and said we need a general contractor to fix the floors entirely as they could not do it. We requested an invoice of materials and waited to hear back to make an informed decision. We have since not heard back from *****, *******, or 50 Floors. Calls to both the individual parties and phone number listed on the website go to voicemail. Because of their mistake, we have to tear up our newly installed $6,500 floors and start over.

We have already received a personal message from ***************, assistant general manager. In his message, he puts the blame on us and the construction of our home. He claims his sales person and installation team inspected our subfloor and determined our issues to be structural, yet still laid down the floors without expressing these concerns to us. His claims are contradictory to what we were told by him, his salesperson, and the team installing the floors. He also says 50 Floors no longer desires to work with us, despite promising to rectify the situation.

I signed a contract for 50Floors to install 4 rooms of carpet, November 14, 2022. I heard from no one until I reached out the 1st week of December. Surface Construction Grp (I'm guessing the sub-contractor called and arranged installation on December 15th 2022. *** did not deliver the right carpet, did not cut the carpet right, and will not return any calls. I have carpet sitting that they won't pick up, and I no longer trust them to finish the job. I just want a bill for the 2 rooms they did install, so I can hire someone to properly finish the job.

50 Floor was supposed to install carpet in one room on 12/26, they cancelled due to weather. Today on the date that the install was suppose to happen I had to call 3 times to find out they wasn't coming to install once again. Mind you out bed is in middle of Livingroom floor and have missed two days of work due to there supposed to be installing carpet. Now they have put me off once again and promised they would install on Thursday 12/29/22. I guess I will have to wait a few more days. But if not some kind of apology for such an inconvenience this has costed me and two days of wages, I will contact attorney general and start dispute.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am still not happy with 50 Floor. They finally made it to install carpet but the manager in which reached out ******* from ********* office was very short and almost hateful over phone. I will never trust the company again with my home. They don't value customer time at all and since being treated like I have I will not recommend. It was on the company to place a call toe the customer to let me know that the installer wasn't coming the date that he was scheduled to come. Monday was originally scheduled in which due to weather they called promptly and let me know that they wasn't going to make it. I was rescheduled for Tuesday in which after 2 phone calls finally learned that the installer wasn't coming so I had waited over half a day without any type of communication from the company to let me know that the driver was still stranded due to weather or van troubles.

I feel like they should give me some money back due to their failure to communicate with me the customer. It has caused me 2 days of unnecessary time adjustments and waisted time.

      Sincerely,

I purchased the services of 50 Flooring for living room at $3000. I was shown a sample of the flooring to be installed. After the floor was installed, I was initially satisfied and installers left. After cleaning up the floor and upon closer inspection, I noticed marks on the floor that looked like tank tracks on planks that were identical printed. As I looked closer I observed a second set of lines that were different from the first lines. These lines are slightly faded but they are wider and larger, like roller tracks and run further down plank. Unlike the tank looking tracks which are compact and run down part of the plank. All marks are evenly spaced and run vertical across the plank. There are also small round marks as well in different areas. I immediately called and explained my issue. For the first several communications by phone pictures were requested. After observing pictures, the representative stated the lines are a characteristic of the floor called tiger striping. I disagreed and started to get treated like my concerns were not valid. There were times phone calls were not returned. A representative was finally sent out to inspect the floor. The rep stated the same thing. "Tiger striping". I disagreed and explained that I had numerous independent people in the business inspect the floor and was told it was a defect. The rep then stated that he would reach out to higher *** about my issue and filled out a complaint form. He stated that he would explain the issue but just wrote tiger striping on paperwork. He stated the order had to be signed by me, which I did. The following day I recieved a call from a rep who stated that the flooring is designed that way and that I signed paperwork from inspector agreeing it was tiger striping. My initial consult nothing was mention about tiger striping and sample piece did not have marking. No offer to show me installed flooring that has tiger striping has been made. They are not honoring guarantee.

I am rejecting this response because: You are showing your true colors as a company on how you treat your customers. That signed document was done after a quick look over of a dusty floor because your workers did not clean up or return the furniture as advertised. It wasn't until I cleaned the floor and got a closer look and saw the imperfections not the quality workmanship of tiger striping. I've done my research. I had floor installers that work in area on rental properties come and look and agree the floor is defective. If you look at your sample there is no tiger striping on your sample. I've researched extensively online and found tiger striping and it looks nothing like what my floor looks like and im not talking about ******************* flooring. How about supplying pics of a few customers floors that have the exact lines my floor has. You've shown that your company is out to rip people off and not correct any issues. Your company has no integrity or proper customer service.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************
