I am being charged a monthly membership fee. I was told i selected that option during checkout, which I did not. I did not select anything I ordered a two month supply for each product. There was no indication that if you select that option you will automatically be enrolled into a program which is very deceitful. I also chose the express shipping option. I have noticed at the end of their corresponding email that orders will not be dispatched for 3-4 weeks which was not stated nor advertised on the website. I would like a full refund please. Hi, I placed an order with Glo Melanin on Friday, March 21st for 3 of their body scrubs. I requested to receive standard shipping. After not receiving any shipping information regarding my order, I reached out to the company on Tuesday, April 1st (7 business days later). Upon reaching out to them, I received a response back stating that they were moving to a new warehouse and there was a slight delay with shipping. I asked why this information wasn't provided to me when I was ordering, so I could have made an informed decision about whether or not I wanted to order or wait that long. I was also upset that I had to reach out to Glo Melanin to find out what was going on no one sent anything to me prior to me reaching out to them. The lady that I communicated with apologized and gave me options for moving forward, which included waiting, getting a gift card, or receiving a refund. Because they said it was a slight delay, I explained to her that I would give it a few more days and if I didn't receive anything, I would request a refund. On Friday, April 4th, I received an email from Glo Melanin informing me (and others) that if we ordered between a certain span of time (March 21st and March 31st), it was going to be an additional 5 to 7 more business days before our orders were shipped. Because I am going out of town this month, I knew I could not wait that long for fear of my packages coming when I'm not home. I sent a new message to customer service on Friday, April 4th requesting a refund. I didn't receive a response back. I sent another message on Monday, April 7th in the email conversation I had been having the previous week with customer service and still there was no response. I'm concerned that they're ignoring me because the initial messages I sent when I was inquiring about my order received very quick responses back. I would like a FULL refund and need to ensure this happens to avoid my products being shipped and arriving when I am not home to get them.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for three turmeric scrubs totaling $49. The companys website stated that orders would be dispatched within 2-3 business days and ALL orders delivered within 5-8 business days. After not receiving any updates, after the payment was withdrawn, I contacted customer service and was informed that one of the items was out of stock, causing a delay. I was assured that the item would be restocked soon. I found this alarming that one of the items were not available, yet they were of the same product. Now, after research I see that this is a persistent tactic used by Glo Melanin/**************************** to deceive customers of their money. After waiting an additional five days with no updates, I requested a refund, which I have not yet received. Instead, the agent went radio silent after making the formal request to cancel and refund the payment. It is important to note that multiple customers have reported similar experiences with Glo Melanin, where "out of stock" is frequently cited as the reason for delays. If they are dishonest about the availability of their products, it raises skepticism about the quality of the ingredients used in their products. I am concerned that if they cannot manage their inventory honestly, they may also be engaging in dishonest practices regarding the quality of their ingredients. This situation constitutes fraud and deceptive trade practices, and I urge that Glo Melanin be audited on their processes. IF THE PRODUCTS ARE UNAVAILABLE, THIS SHOULD BE CLEARLY Stated before withdrawing money. OTHERWISE, it is deceptive. Had I known Glo Melanins way of conducting business, I would have avoided this. They are enticing individuals to provide money, whereas the products does not exist. Explain how this is any different than a Nigerian scam? Promising to provide something in exchange for currency but theres no product or promise fulfilled. To clarify, we always honor customer requests, including refunds when necessary. The delay in your order was due to one of the items being out of stock. While we generally ship complete orders, we only process split shipments if a restock is expected to take more than three months. In this case, a restock was scheduled within a few weeks, so we held the order to ship it in full. However, we acknowledge that this was not clearly communicated to you, and we take full responsibility for that oversight.
We also send notifications to all affected customers regarding restocks and delays, but we understand that this may not have been received or clearly conveyed in your case. Additionally, due to a high volume of customer inquiries, our response time has been longer than usual, which we recognize added to your frustration.
That said, we have already processed your refund and order cancellation. You should have received confirmation, and the funds should be returned to your original payment method based on standard processing times.

To clarify, as stated on our website, our processing time is 3-5 business days (excluding weekends). Since your order was placed on Friday, February 14, our fulfillment team began processing it on Monday, February 17, and it was dispatched on February 19, which falls within our standard timeframe.
For Priority Shipping (3-4 business days), weekends are also excluded from the delivery timeframe. This means that while your order was shipped as quickly as possible, weekends were not counted toward the shipping duration. Based on our records, your package was delivered within the promised timeframe.

I some how subscribed to Glo melanin because I purchased some soap!!! All of a sudden Glo melanin is withdrawing from my act each and every month!! I ordered skincare products from GloMelanin on 08/16/2024, it is now 09/08/2024, I called customer service and got a voicemail three times, left voicemails to no avail. Emailed, after three times I got a response stating that the turmeric scrub had a packaging delay and that my order would be expedited, well the next day I received an email saying that my order was on the way and had been shipped and shortly thereafter I received another email with a tracking number, but it still hasnt arrived and the tracking number doesnt give me any information, to make a long story short I would like to forewarn others before they like myself get beat out of their money. We acknowledge that we experienced inventory and fulfillment issues during the period in question, which we communicated to the customer as soon as they reached out to us via email. However, we also recognize that we could have been more proactive in keeping the customer updated during this challenging time, and for that, we sincerely apologize.
The customer's order was fulfilled on September 4, 2024, after we received the delayed inventory. As with all our orders, we have a standard processing time of 3-5 business days. While we provided a tracking number at the time of fulfillment, there is often a delay between the order being packed and when the courier picks it up from the warehouse. We communicated this to the customer and, according to our records, the shipment began moving on September 9, 2024.

I accidentally subscribed to a subscription an email stating that it was a mistake and I wanted a refund and cancel. They gave me a refund. Didn't cancel a month later charged me full price. Does not want to fix issue but dispute the issue that I'm disputing as if I'm wrong. There's not even anything to subscribe to. I don't even have additional products after ACCIDENTAL subscription. Never got another response from owner. I have attached the email conversation stating that they would refund. I've also attached copy of the original subscription bill and a copy of the more recent subscription bill. Don't even know what the subscription is for.
