I hired EMJ Cleaning Services on March 4th to clean just a portion of my home. The women that arrived to clean my home were unprofessional. They were constantly stopping their work to answer the phone. One of them discarded mop water in my kitchen sink and arrived 30 minutes late. I never got to address these issues because I realized that they ruined my high end coffee maker by spraying cleaner on it. I immediately called and emailed EMJ Cleaning Services and requested a reimbursement for my coffee maker. I was told to buy the replacement coffee maker at my expense, allow them to pick up the damaged one and then I can receive reimbursement. I didn't find this resolution to be fair and asked for the owner to call me. When the owner *redacted* called he agreed to forgo picking up the damaged coffee maker and would reimburse me for the requested amount in 3 to 5 business via a mailed check or via paypal. I followed up after not receiving this check or electronic payment. I was emailed a picture of an EMJ Cleaning ************ business check for the requested amount with my name on it and explained that it must be lost in the mail. To date, I never received this check or electronic payment. In my experience, EMJ Cleaning ************ and their owner *redacted* are unprofessional, lack integrity and provide low quality cleaning services. You will end up replacing an item and cleaning up after their services. Their time in my home has cost me more time and energy than cleaning myself or hiring someone else. I have emails sent to me by the owner confirming his agreement to reimburse me for the damages that his employees caused. I just wanted to spare anyone the hardship of doing business with the cleaning company.
