Destiny homes does not pay their contractors properly. They cut bills after the contractor used their own $ to purchase field materials and use our company’s gas, service trucks, pay our people and they don’t pay according which speaks to why they can’t keep licensed contractors to do the field work. They expect something for nothing.

6 months after purchase, NONE of the pre existing problems have been touched. Service NEVER answers the phone, leave a message and it is NEVER returned. Finally had to look at taking legal action against them and their response was the problems would NEVER get repaired if I did that. Since the doors wont secure without mechanical assistance, the house isnt even safe to live in. 19 discreet problems after the house was set up. Please look elsewhere for your investment. They may look nice on the lot but there must not be ANY QC and service is non existent.

Really don't know where to start but anyway we bought a home from southland homes. We bought the home in 2020 and received the home in 2021 well to start with we paid for fixed windows in the kitchen were charged for them and didn't get them also were charged for 11 insulated windows and only have 10. Charged for 11 blinds only have 10 and one is broken. The AC unit in the home didn't have a filter door was told multiple times we will get one. The air doesn't work right in 2 of the rooms. The front and back door needed to be replaced they did come out and replace the back door but keep telling me the front door is on back order FOR 2 YEARS YEA RIGHT. The kitchen counter top is cut like they were cutting drywall on it also the linoleum flooring in the master bath was cut also looks like they were cutting drywall on it same on a spot on kitchen linoleum the contractor glued it with super glue and said that's the way they fix it. I don't think so you can see where he glued it. The cabinet doors are not what we were supposed to get was told that sometimes they change things NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME we ordered the home the way we wanted it not the way you wanted to do it if you change a customer's order the customer needs to be notified to see if there ok with the change also the countertop edges were not what we wanted. there is so much other stuff on the list that needs to be taken care of its been 2 years trying to get all of this resolved I'm tired it's time to take care of the problems think i might have to seek professional help. If had to do it all over again I would buy a *********. BUYER BEWARE.

We were thinking of purchasing a Destiny, but they might as well be obsolete. Can’t get anyone on the phone or a return phone call. Not even so much as a return email. Can’t imagine how bad it would be after sell. It’s a no for me!

Tom B we purchased our Destiny home in August. Of 2020, we have had nothing but poor and unacceptable service with them do not see how they have stayed in business. We have had several issues but electrical is the worst, going back to August/September of 2020. Destiny Homes in Moultrie GA. Sent an electrician from the factory out to try and resolve our issues which started with all receptacles in kitchen failed county inspection. The person they sent came out from under the house said this house is not wired according to the schematics he had, cross over wire was cut and he spliced or rewired the best he could but one wire he was not sure where it went. We have a repair order with no name or anything that portrays what he said. Hot water heater was not even wired correctly to the box, washing machine receptacle needs replacing, stove just quit working a couple months ago, we have not been able to speak to service after months of calling.. They should not be able to continue building very poor product without a way of forcing them to fix the mess they leave you with.

I bought my home in 2021 was told it would be completed in April of 2021 ended up getting it end of july. Some problems in the house still isnt fixed. I have/had problems all the way from paint splatters to uneven walls, floor rises in the home when the air is on *still not fixed*. Doors uneven. Vinyl placed wrong on outside of house, slit in floors, tub cracked, its been nothing but a disaster. One of my complaints was my bathroom doors werent even out of about 7 contractors coming the door still isnt right until we have realized that the reason the doors is like this is because of the far wall being higher than the other walls in the house. The floor has a slant to it. Before the last contractors left i had to call destiny homes to have a close out interview of what the contractors done so they could be paid for their work. I advised DiDi (the name the contractors gave me) of what was going on with the walls and she advised me that she would have Brandi P******* reach back out to me about this after she gets back from lunch. This was on wednesday and today which is a friday i had to reach out to her and she advised me that this problem wouldnt be fixed due to me signing off on a work order. I advised her that i told DiDi about these problems in the closing interview. She told me that it was limited warranty. Warranty shouldnt be up on a home that i havent even had a year. Brandi P******* was nothing but rude. I want my house fixed the correct way as anybody would when paying nearly 115000 dollars. It should be done the correct way. I wouldnt even give this place one star but i had to give them something. I dont want Brandi P******* dealing with this matter any longer. I dont see how she has a job with the type of customer service she gives.

We purchased a Destiny Home and was delivered October 2019 and was very delayed at that point we were supposed to receive in July 2019. We passed papers on home March 2020 and wish we never did until all of the repairs were completed. All of our doors need replacement for outside doors. Damaged and frames bent. Outside of house still not fully painted after a year. Cracks in Hardy board. Inside of house has 7 pages of repairs. Floors sagging, cuts in linoleum. Every room needs to be repainted and has cracks. The closets had huge gaps in them. All of the crown molding has seams in the middle of room and never put in correctly, All cabinets and drawers need straightening out and drawers damaged. One bedroom has no a/c in it. My stove hood leaks constantly. Damage in laundry room with mold on the ceiling. Every inside door has the wrong hinges and there are 3 inches on the bottoms of the doors at least and they are crooked. Inside paint is flat primer not a satin finish ******* ******** that they lead us to believe. So now every wall needs repainting. Never finished tiling in kitchen. The house was so poorly constructed I wish we never invested in this home. In late August 2021 2 men came for 20 hours maximum and said they would be back on labor day, they have never returned and I have not have one contact to return. I have called and emailed and noone will return my call. I am disgusted with this companies performance and will not recommend them to anyone.

We bought from Destiny Homes in June of 2019. We'll off the top the house had no power, then the appliances didn't work. Took forever to get anyone out to fix it. My kids could of probably built a better house. But anyways, been filing the same issues with Johnny since 2019 with nothing being done. I'm now looking into legal action. I'll be **** if I pay 200,000.00 for a new home and have to put more money into fixing it this soon

We purchased our home in 2019 from ******* manufactured homes. Due to a lot of mistakes and delays we were finally able to move in on December **, 2019. After moving in we notified ******* of issues we discovered in the home and was told to contact the manufacturer. I began contacting the manufacturer immediately. We got bounced around, had to leave messages, etc... When we finally after months of aggravation had a floor supervisor come to our home to do a walk through where he noted everything that was pointed out wrong such as bowed doors (not hung correctly) to a gap above the front door that a grown man could slide his hand through, the front door couldn't be opened because the opening had been cut wrong and it messed up the front door, the barn door that was ordered for our then * year old's bedroom was not attached correctly to the wall (so when she opened it, the door fell on her and it did not look like the barn door design we asked for), all the caulking done disappeared through out the house, the foe boards in the den were cut to short, the tile work behind the stove was cracked and bowed, the fan and overhead cover over the stove was bent and the fan didn't work, the floors have gaps under the linoleum in all rooms, there was paint on cabinets, parts of cabinets broken, cabinets that weren't hung correctly, bathroom medicine cabinet that the face part wasn't even nailed on, bathtub and shower not caulked correctly, electric outlets not set flush with the walls and the outlets themselves full of caulk, you name it it was shoddy. Pipes under mobile home weren't connected to home so when pipes were connected to drain in to sewage they fell out from under home. Plumber said they were never glued. Set up crew from ******* didn't connect sewage, ran over water lines and broke them multiple times (once didn't tell us and when my husband got home from work he had to fix the pipe because we pay for water). So the battle of calling weekly to get someone to come out to repair these things began. The first set of workers sent out didn't know how to deal with electrical and they filled the gap between the face plates of the electrical outlets with caulk, they put the front door in wrong again and had a one inch gap on the sides that they filled with caulking all while breaking the decorative front around the outside of our front door with a crowbar, the one person stayed in our bathroom most of the time they were here didn't complete the work wanted me to sign off on work order (nope). Second crew came out similar behavior. Out of 4 different crews sent out here only one crew did what they could do to correct the horrible craftsmanship done to our $***,000 home. That crew wasn't given the correct siding or boards to fix things, yet they fixed everything they could during their time here. I was told that after they came out that was the last of the work that would be done to our home that Destiny was done working with us. So we still have messed up floors, barn door was never changed out, still some caulking issues, outlets are still jacked up, front door still has issues not because of the last crew but because the opening was incorrectly cut, tiles behind stove still cracked you name it just extremely shoddy, poor craftsmanship. When I called ******* to explain that our purchase of this home had been a nightmare as well as trying to get it fixed, as well as the central heat and air unit messing up at only 1 1/2 years old, I was informed that Destiny had been purchased by a different company and maybe if I called there they could make everything right. I called once never got an answer (not going to go through all that again). Trust me this is not a $***,000 home, yet we are paying on it for ** years whether we like it or not. Buyer beware is all I can say. I would not want to wish the nightmare on anyone. For the price we paid and the stuff that wasn't done correctly by the manufacturer you would have thought that they would have offered to refund some of our money since they certainly didn't build us the home that we paid for.
